I think Parker is going to expose/dismantle everything Wilder is, a pure business protected hypejob.

Wilder gets exposed everytime he fights then wins in devastating fashion

    It's a given

Just like Fury coming on form for "tough" fights and dominating is given

Wilder is certainly well rested..one round in two years.

Parker checks out mentally after getting hit with a decent punch. He's never looked like he cared about winning in tough fights.

    Wilder KO by the 5th.

Parker was also protected, definitely cruised after AJ.
But I tend to think this has some elements of a possible upset.
Wilder has been out for a long time now and is actually old these days.
Parker might just throw caution to the wind here, might even go in thinking it's his last big fight.
If he's prepared to make it a shootout and get KO'd, he could land big first and capitalise, you never know.

Too much optimism here in thread but I also belive that Parker have some chance here.
But not because Wilder is hypejob. I belive Parker got chance because he is quiet good boxer with quiet heavy and quick hands + got good chin.
And other side we got Wilder who is almost for sure after his prime (38 years old) + he was beaten hard by Fury 2 times (can cost him lot of health) + Wilder spend in ring in official fight not full 3 minutes in 2 years now? And he spend it with friends from sparing who was probably perfect matchup for him (big, slow, bad chin) to look soo good.

We have no idea what Wilder can bring to ring if fight will be harder. Parker is probably his best opponent from while and probably only Ortiz can be count as better if we talking about wins.

Parker got chance if he choose good tactic and prepare himself very well but for sure he is not favorite and for sure its not that easy to beat Deontay even this days.

I think you're even understating the case here tbh.

"Aside from AJ, the only one I might pick to beat Ortiz is Joyce, but judging by how terribly Joyce performs against southpaws, even that one is iffy."

It's also iffy because Joyce's trainer admitted that post-Wilder 1 Ortiz was a bad matchup for Joyce:

Ortiz signed with Matchroom in 2016, obviously looking for the Joshua fight. It didn't materialise and we know why, given Joshua's abysmal record against Cubans, southpaws and Cuban-trained front foot counterpunchers.

"whose best win is glass jawed Tony Yoka."

Even at 42 I think Tony Thompson would have outhustled Yoka, maybe put him down too.

"Jennings lost to every top 20 fighter he faced."

Perez was top 10 Ring ranked, I don't know where Szpilka, Fedosov, Liakhovich and Dimitrenko were. Jennings gave Wlad his most competitive fight in several years and many thought he deserved a result against Joyce. Jennings was 6th ranked when Ortiz dominated him. Prior to the Hammer fight, Ortiz always looked impressive relative to the likes of Pulev, Joyce, Parker, Takam, Chisora and Whyte against mutual opponents.

"it looked like Ruiz was happy to coast through the fight to the W"

He won by a point according to Boxrec consensus, judges had Ruiz by 1-3. Given how close it was when Ortiz was officially 43 with two KO defeats it's no shock that Ruiz had been avoiding Ortiz for years.

Ortiz was top 5 or top 6 ranked by Ring from 2015-2021.

Parker was lower risk and higher reward than Ortiz, which is a big reason why he got the fights against Takam, Chisora, Joyce etc. (all guys who avoided Ortiz).

He may well expose and dismantle Wilder.

And then Wilder will knock him out

    "Kean"

This is the level of opponent that Wilder was knocking out around the time he beat Audley Harrison.

    "Ortiz, T-Fury"

Both of which would have beaten Parker and everyone he's faced.

"People be saying Wilder is gonna KO Parker in round 1, he aint no damn glass Jaw Helenious."

Joshua went 7 rounds with an even older and more worn Helenius than the one Wilder KO'd in 1. Helenius probably did more damage to Joshua than Parker managed.

"Parker can easily take this to decision"

Behind Wilder KO, the 2nd most likely outcome is Wilder UD.

    "remember this post."

I'm sure it will be bumped.

Mike Perez was never any good and who thought Jennings deserved a result against Joyce? The scorecards were rubbish but no way did Jennings do enough to win or draw that.

'Protected' Wilder's last eight - Bermane Stiverne (rematch), Luis Ortiz, Tyson Fury, Dominic Breazeale, Luis Ortiz (again), Tyson Fury (again), Tyson Fury (yet again) and Robert Helenius.

In those eight fights, Wilder scored 13 knockdowns.

Parker's last eight - Shawndell Winters, Junior Fa, Derek Chisora, Derek Chistora (again), Joe Joyce, Jack Massey, Faiga Opelu, Simon Kean.

Soo Wilder in 8 fights got 3 times ass whoopped by same guy, got 2 total trash fight (Second Stiverne and Robert Hellenius), and beat WBC fake mandatory and beat twice same old dude who done nothing to have another chance after first loss.

That's for sure not braveheart level of courage...
