I think Paul Williams can beat Kelly Pavlik

    I said this before when the fight was first mentioned months ago and i'm sticking to it ... Paul Williams can beat Kelly Pavlik.

    Check my previous posts and you will see the proof ... I think the speed, movement, and boxing ability will carry Williams to victory against Pavlik.

    I think that unlike Pavlik who steps straight back, Williams steps to the side and pivots ... I think that will make him more illusive than Kels.

    What do you guys think?

    I like Williams, and he reminds me a little of Pavlik the way he fights. He's obviously faster than Palik. However, Pavlik is bigger, stronger,and more technically sound. I'm pretty sure Pavlik would whoop Williams at this time.

    just listen to the commentary by Teddy Atlas ... and usually he tells the truth when it comes to mistakes that young up and comers make.

    and Pavlik still makes the same mistakes that I had mentioned in the opening post.

    For a good idea of how this fight goes down..Imagine Quintana-Williams1 with Williams getting KTFO around the 9th.....this would be exciting for a few rounds, but only a few

    Pavlik has a much bigger frame, he's more imposing and his punches would do far more damage than Margaritos did to Paul.

    Pavlik would stop him relatively easy right now, and I'm by no means a Paul hater.

    He still steps back in straight lines ... he has problems with boxers who use angles ... and he keeps his chin in the air when taking that step back ...

    Paul Williams throws a ton of punches and throws them from different angles ... he's also constantly moving and is as fresh in the 12th as he is in the 1st.

    Paul Williams is taller than Steve Francis who is listed at 6'3 ... he was a few inches taller than Andy Kolle ... he's a legit 6'2 or 6'3 ... his reach is longer than Pavlik's and his speed is by far better than Pavlik's.

    I don't think the size is going to play a factor if they ever fought because they're both wirey and thin.

    i like both fighters a lot

    it will be a competitive & exciting fight

    Pavlik murders Williams.. I'm sorry, but KO'ing Andy Kolle isn't all that much.. Abraham would decapitate Williams as well..

    I always had love for Williams ... I had picked him to lose to Quintana in the first fight and I had him winning the second fight in the same fashion ... check my past posts ... i'm not a bandwagon type ...
