I think Paul Williams can beat Kelly Pavlik

Pavlik chin has tasted Miranda and Taylors punches , and Im not so sure William punches any harder then those guys.

so I think pavlik chin handles william punch well at this point.

He beat Margo 7-5. I suspect he'd lose to a bigger better version of Margo.

 

First of all, saying that Kelly steps back with his chin in the air is an outright lie the way you said it.

It makes it seem like he doesn't put his guard up when he's finished throwing, which he does.

Secondly, you're assuming that Williams is a power puncher and will be the aggressor, which will give Kelly reason to go back in the first place, which he will not.

Williams is the smaller, yet faster man, but will not be the aggressor in this fight.

Third, you really don't understand boxing. You should just stop now because you might hurt yourself.

I am the one who dont understand the criticizm Paul Williams gets here. He beat Margo in a close fight, Margo who is a superstar now after knocking out Cintron and Cotto, he lost a close one to Quintana but knocked him out in 1 later. I'm surprised about the level of criticism this guy gets. With Kelly Pavlik I dont think its a good matchup for him. He wont have height or reach advantage like he had over all his previous opponents and the power of Pavlik might be too much for him, but you never know.

Yea we do know....Williams just beat cannon fodder at 160 now suddenly he can beat Pavlik? Get your head out of your ass man.......Aside from this Williams gets handed a beatdown by a few of Pavliks castaways.....If Pavlik moved up to fight at 175 and beat some cabdriver I wouldnt be saying that he could beat Dawson or Diaconu.....because that is just plain ignorance

 

Pavlik hits a lot harder than Margarito. And it's not like Williams can't get hit because he's been hit with some bombs before. Hell, even Sharmba Mitchell stunned him at Welterweight. I got Pavlik by TKO or KO.

 

this sums it up we just dont know yet, but paul has a good chin too so if he develops into a MW i do like the style match up in Pauls favor in the future with more development
