Pavlik has a decent chin ... he was hurt several times against Hopkins ... Hurt in both Taylor fights ... he has good recovery but he gets rattled often ... and I can see him getting KO'd.

Pavlik can weather the storm but against someone who's a bit more relentless i'm sure that he would have some serious trouble.

i'm not changing my opinion Williams can beat Pavlik and TopRank is going to do what it takes to avoid him another loss for Pavlik can hurt his career alot, especially to a former welterweight champion.

Right now, if this fight happened, i think PW beats Pavlik, maybe easily via wide UD or possibly KO. Yeah i said it. PW has power when he sits down on his punches. He's getting better with each fight. Pavlik seems to be doing the opposite. If not, he's not getting better.

Pavlik/Williams ought to be made, has the makings of a very intriguing match. Due to Winky's long layoff and subsequent ring rust, Winky's dismantling might not be as fully impressive as it appeared. Paul looked incredible that night, probably his best ever. Maybe he looks that good against Pavlik, maybe Pavlik walks him down and beats him up, nobody knows for sure until this fight is made. Paul should campaign for this fight, do a David Haye on Pavlik.

Whatever might happen, i don't think size will be an issue at all. It actually wouldn't suprise me if PW is the bigger man.

Williams is a far better fighter than Pavlik. He is faster, better footwork, throws better combinations, good chin, moves laterally and creates angles. He just needs 2 put on some muscle and he can beat Pavlik.

I agree with you completely man. However, Pavlik will never fight a fighter like Williams after Grampa BHOP made Pavlik look like an amatuer.

Yes Williams will beat him, Pavlik is a weak minded person he sold himselt to loose against hopkins all for the money, I know for sure he will do the same for Williams, I will never trust Pavlik he just does not have honor.

P-Dub still gets hit a little too cleanly. Not sure he could take Pav's power. I would like for P-dub to settle in to middleweight before he took this fight.

I think Williams beats Pavlik in a similar way that Hopkins did, but not as severe!

Williams is as tall as Kelly, has a reach advantage, & hits hard. Paul has also displayed a good chin & it would be put to the test against Pavlik!

If Paul boxed, rather than becoming involved on the inside all the time as he sometimes likes to do, he would quite comprehensively imo.

Pavlik has a chance of seriously hurting PW at this point. Weight just too much of a difference.

Sorry guapo, but you are delusional if you think pavlik has overrated power, he is actually one of the most heavy handed fighters I have ever seen. Most of his fights end up with his opponent on the canvas seeing stars in the later rounds. His opponents are affected first half of the fight and end up on the canvas the 2nd half. I do have to say he does not have that one punch lights out power arthur posesses but to say overrated is delusional.
P will is one of my favorite fighters, but talk to me when he faces a fighter with power. Unfortunately, other then pavlik and arthur, there are too many to choose from at middle, but he gets KTFO against either arthur or Pavlik, his defense is way to open against the upper echelon fighters ESPECIALLY against arthur or kelly.:good

Please most heavy handed fighter you've ever seen? He's a very good puncher but he's not deadly like Gerald McClellan and Julian Jackson were at middleweight. Marco Antonio Rubio took his punches and Pavlik was not able to knock him out. He did KO Taylor, but it still takes alot of punches for him to knock his man out.
