I think so,too.Nothing against Pavlik personally as he seems like an ok guy,but I believe that Paul's fitness, handspeed and angles will give Kelly fits.Kelly is too predictable and you know Paul is going to throw 100 punches.Williams by clear unanimous decision.

I really don't know for sure if PW can really sit down on his punches at MW and make KP step back or hold himself back a little. Listen, PW was not making Verno Phillips back away... He reaches you first because he has such a long reach and he's quite fast putting punches together, I would say more than fast, he's fluid and a good boxer. excellent timing, moves his body well and explores those angles to nail with great body shots... But there's a big room for doubt whether he can make Pavlik hold on for a second to swallow that punch and not punch back harder or not. In my opinion there's clearly an overestimation of PW's punching power and strength - he was feeling those big right hands from Phillips so I don't know...

Welterweights bullied Williams in some fights. One can assume he'll be stronger at 160, but will he be "deal with Pavlik" stronger? I say no.

Williams has NEVER been hit with the type of power punches that he'll eat against Pavlik, he better hire Nasim Richardson or something, because unless he suddenly becomes a defense mastermind I see him taking too much damage from Pavlik...

These are two of my favorite fighters and I almost don't want them to fight, but at the same time this fight would be amazing ..

Yeah but we Knew that Pavlik never fought at WW and weighed in at 145

and we knew he could take a MW punch b/c he had fought many MW and SMW.

Kelly knows he wasn't 100% against Hopkins. I don't think it will be a problem. Especially against someone that probably can't dent his cranium much.

The fight is official, Oct 3rd Atlantic City ... we will see if Williams has the goods to win. I know that based on both of their losses I would have to say that Williams has been the least effected. Pavlik was almost in to tears, while Williams was still singing the same tune_telling other fighters that they're still not off the hook and he's still going to punish people.

What's weird is that there's a rematch clause for Pavlik in case he loses ... that doesn't sound like TopRank ... they usually don't do rematches ... unless the fight was a success.

I read that HBO (to make the fight) had denied both Williams and Pavlik dates to fight other fighters this year, forcing them to come to terms. I hope they do that for Floyd vs Pacquiao, should they both win.

he definitely can... and we're gonna know if it's possible or not the first time kelly catches paul on the end of that brutal right hand. if paul shakes it off no big deal, kelly's got his work cut out for him. i have a feeling when that thing lands, though, paul's really gonna feel it and it's gonna throw him off his game. still can't decide for sure on this one though. i just know it's gonna be an AWESOME fight.

Paul Williams is going to show more movement and more activity than Bernard Hopkins ... and given his southpaw style and boxing ability ... Kels is not going to be landing all that flush. P Willie isn't going to underestimate Pavlik ... I don't think anyone is.

who bullied williams???must have missed it...plus what people must remember is that williams will be MUCH stronger at 160...he was obviously drained at 147...now he will be at his natural weight...strong...devastating

its not so much that... im personally worried about pw's chin... its an actual question mark

but kelly can only punch when he's getting off first....so itll be a test of who can fire first... when pavlik is firing first paul will evade & move.... when paul is firing first kelly will just cover up...
