I think Pavlik will be surprised at the one-punch power of Maravilla.

    You heard it hear first.

Sergio will show Pavlik very quickly in the fight that he has legitimate one-punch power. He has better power than Jermain Taylor's feather-fisted ass, and he will use it to stun Pav on numerous ocassions. Also, he will avoid getting hit cleanly against the much slower, basic style of Pavlik.

If his stamina is any better than it was in December 2009, this fight will prove to be an embarrassing ass-whippin on the way to a Martinez UD.

Oh - Booradley and Hermit, nobody gives a **** was Pav's amateur record was, and no one cares how many MW's havent made it past whatever round against him. Find some new material...:smoke

I agree. Speed equals power and Martinez is definitely the faster of the two. I see a clear cut UD for Martinez, as well.

Maybe he's down at the Double-Jab Gym, and is too busy to see this post just yet.

That would mean that he applied for, & got a job.

NO WAY is that going to happen.

He is on here 16 hours a day doing Gods work, & NOTHING is going to interfere with that!

    Pavlik KO 1

Martinez will faint right when Pavlik looks at him.

Pavlik was the best amateur and JT got lucky because Pavlik was 17 and green and against Hopkins Pavlik quit because Hopkins paid him off plus he had super serious staph that ate his hands off, he fought Espino with prosthetic hands, but you can't see because they're in gloves and he had a sinus infection so that's why Bernard won.

Pavlik is so much better than Martinez! WAR KELLY

Martinez's chin won't be able to stand up to Pavlik's brick crushing staph nubs!!!!!

    another bold prediction ?

Last time you spoke so dogmatically, we heard how Clottey was going to destroy Pacman... we had to put up with that bs for months... at least now we only have to wait a few days until you are once again proven wrong.

Why is it you always seem so sure? Like whatever you're saying is the way things are? I think maybe you give yourself too much credit? You are no guru

No. He might be stunned by his speed and accuracy and not see some of the shots coming, but that's about all you can hope for, really.

    :rofl:rofl:rofll

Ya -- a guy with a 50% KO ratio against mostly sub par opposition is going to shock Pavlik with his fearsome power.

    :rofl:rofl

Sergio did stop Bunema, but so did feather fisted Kassim Ouma, and Jermain Taylor. And by the way, Bronco McKart beat a peak Bunema 117-111.

WOW!!! I just checked Box Rec, and you won't believe this, but ya know who Martinez knocked out besides Bunema?

    The great Archak Termeliksatian!!

Of course that was after Sergio Mora ruined Archak's chin:patsch

I think it's pretty ****in obvious after my last couple of redictions that I'm no guru. I was wrong about Clottey. So ****in what.

By the way, *******, I said in the thread title "I think" which means I'm not sure. And I also said "if" Maravilla has better stamina...

If you don't like to read opposing views, take yo ass to victoriasecrets.com or some ***** **** like that.

i dunno. its pretty clear that when sergio wants to, he can show sneaky power. he ko'd cintron and put williams down. from the sounds of it, kelly has prepared his ass off, which would include watching the **** out of sergio's fights. i'm sure they know that, while he's not a ko artist, the 50% ko ratio may be a tad misleading.

additionally, kelly has been hit VERY hard in his career. sergio hasnt been hit as hard as kelly hits. so, all the prep in the world won't completely prepare sergio to be hit by kelly whereas in kelly's previous fights he's been tagged by harder shots than sergio can throw.
