I think Quintana will put another beating on the feather-fisted Williams

Yes, he was good, but he wasn't quite B+, I thought...Williams was really made for him...

Williams has no defence, that was his issue, a counter puncher tore him to pieces in some of those rounds and will do the same in the rematch, motivated or not. The guy isn't going to develop a good defence in 4 months.

    Stylistically it goes to Quintana.

No, he's not B+, but he's better than B- Margarito, Clottey and Williams.

So a 'B' rating for Quintana is likely the most accurate. And again, the opponent can be made for you and if you perform physically at the A level, that can be considered an A level performance. Quintana didn't, he performed at the B level, Williams is just poor, a B+ or A performance against Williams would have been winning every round visciously or stopping him, he lost a few rounds and gassed out at round 7 or so and had to dig for the last few.

Williams isn't going to change anything ... Quintana was lucky keeping up with Williams' work rate the first time ... that was a pace that Quintana wasn't accustom'd too ... and i'm sure this time around it would work to Williams advantage.

It's easy to get off a hundred punches per round when opponents stand right in front of you. Williams' workrate was cut in half by Quintana's movement.

Do you have the punch stats antwaan? ... i'm sure that they both were at about 1,000 punches after the fight ...

I know that Quintana never averaged 100 punches per round even against Julio - yet he did against Williams and looked very fatigue afterwards.

I agree. Ive been listening to William's comments lately and it doesn't even seem like he's come to terms with why he lost. He just keeps saying that he never got going and that this time he'll be fighting like the challenger. Someone should tell this guy that he never got going cause he kept getting his ass beat by CQ whenever he tried. Its going to take better foot work to and timing to fix his problems but I havent heard a word to that effect.

I'm pulling for Quintana, Williams has no business fighting at welterweight.

I thought Williams looked very sluggish against Quintana, and immediately I wondered if his best days at 147 are behind him. He can't be making that weight easily, so odds are a loss will force him to move up to 154.

Williams should have some style issues against Quintana, but the more lively PW who fought Margarito would decision CQ. He'd be troubled by Quintana regardless, but previously he maintained a steady punch output even when confronted with movement.

Because he looked so fragile to me, I'm still going with Quintana in this fight, but it wouldn't be a surprise if PW outworked him down the stretch.
