I think Quintana will put another beating on the feather-fisted Williams

I thoroughly enjoyed Quintana's ass whoopin' of Williams last time out. I've come to become a real fan of Quintana over the years. First time I saw the guy He looked to be no more than an average talent, and then I saw him in against Joel Julio and saw a mid-level guy turn into a world class contender all in one fight.

As for the rematch, I have no ****ing clue why Williams would be considered the favorite. For someone who thought Carlos won the 1st fight by a wide margin that just boggles my mind.

Anwyay, I'll give Williams credit and say he adjusts and keeps the fight closer this time out. Even still I don't think he'll be able to fix all the kinks in his defensive armor and Quintana will still be able to powershot him almost at will again and he'll take it by close, but decisive UD.

I had a feeling Williams was gonna stop him. I figured he was going to come out with fire tonight and he did. Working behind that jab and then dropping a bomb.

Good stuff. I shouldve bet on the damn fight.

Q shouldn't have his head down like this, anyone who's been in the ring knows that a tall lanky guy if he puts proper body mechanics into a punch has power regardless of how physically weaker they seem. Q was too relaxed and got caught flush and clean because he was hit by something he wasn't ready for.

Q landed a punch that to me was signs that he could have won another UD as the first fight. He landed a clean overhand left that hit PW flush on the face. Which was the same punch that he was landing all night in the 1st fight.

Regardless of what happened tonight, PW better not be gay and he better give Q the RubberMatch. PERIOD!

I feel you, but I have a feeling a rubbermatch won't happen. Big difference between the way Quintana won and the way he lost. He got blasted by some hard lefts.

I'm all for a 3rd but I'm not sure either fighter will want it.

There'll be ZERO demand for a rubber match after the nature of this fight

So much for a FEATHER FIST getting a beating put on him haha. Paul Williams proved why he is a feared man in the WW division.

Hmmm...I think there should be a rubber match, but I doubt there will be one...

Williams underperformed in the first fight and Quintana underperformed in the second. Williams was again at his best...

It seems I was wrong...a Williams at his best will beat a Quintana a his best, it seems...

...it looks like quite a few people think so too, so there won't be a rubber match, especially since Williams is a much bigger star.

With Mayweather retired, Williams will look to fight the winner of Cotto v. Margarito; looks like Quintana will have to look elsewhere...maybe Cintron or the loser of Cotto v. Margarito...

...but there should really be a rubber match because Quintana was unlucky to be hurt so badly that early...it's just one of those things...if he had KTFOed Williams in the first fight, there would still have been a rematch...

If Quintana had KO'd Williams in the first round in their first fight I doubt a rematch would have happened immediately if at all.

that was a dominating stoppage, He had Quintana rocking and reeling all over the ring.

yeah...Quintana was badly hurt, but anyone can be hurt like that...if Quintana had been more crafty, he'd have taken a knee early, regained his head and made it alive out of the first...like Locket did against Pavlik...

...still...it did look like Williams would beat him bad on the night, the way he was performing...

Williams, I think, put in a B+ performance...the kind of performance that Pavlik puts in...not bad...not bad at all...

Except for Cotto, no one performs at B+ level or above at WW these days...:think I think...

This has been my stance in each and every one of my post regarding this fight. I hope he has a rematch clause.

If Quintana wants a rubber match he deserves it.

They've had about as contrasting wins as you can get, so a third is definitely warranted
