    two 8 rounders with young guys, like 6-0 records. Never heard of them. They had a decent prospect fight lined up but somebody got injured, don't recall the names offhand.

    Not super impressed by either guy myself. I think they are both solid fighters who will be top 10 for a long time(except Rigo probably because of his age) but neither I see being P4P or even undisputed even though many are very high on Rigo there are too many flaws and his style is too amateurish. It might be enough to be Ramos but guys like Donaire, Nishioka even Vazquez Jr and Mijares I think handle him.

    He SUCKS.

    Ramos, based on his showing against Shimoda, has got no chance IMO. Maybe he had an off night in that bout (losing almost every round before he KO'd Aki), but I'm not willing to just assume that it's the case when analysing this one. Ramos looked crap against Shimoda, completely negative, amateurish, even clueless at times. It was a woeful boxing performance. Rigondeuax has looked fairly ****ing good so far in his career, he seems to have every asset, and every facet of his game boxed-off. Rigondeaux looks a damn sight better than Shimoda in just about every respect, what is there to suggest Ramos will do any better against Rigo?

    If Ramos makes it to the final bell, I'll be surprised. If he wins, I'll be ****ing shocked. I hope he does win, BTW, I can't stand Rigondeaux (he's a ****) but I don't see that happening at all. If Ramos does pull it off, it's a massive upset, for me.

    Thanks. I saw a few young guys on the undercard but didn't know Showtime was showing them, good to know they are.

    This will e a match for people who like 'pure boxers' both are very good at what they do. Guarantee people will say this is boring because they only like brawlers which neither are.

    I think Rigo will win by KO via bodyshot

    Ramos was boring against Shimoda, not because of his style - because he was woeful at executing it. He's terrible to watch because of it.

    Rigondeaux, I enjoy watching. A masterful boxer at times.

    I already did a post with a major poll about this fight. The outcome is over 90% of fans don't give Ramos any chance! ;)

    Yet another Shobox fight that I'll miss cause I don't ****ing have showtime. :patsch

    As has been said, Rico looked bad his last time out and conventional wisdom would be that he gets stopped but for some odd reason, I think he pulls it off. :think

    Call your T.V provider and sometimes they have promotions for 3 mnonths free HBO Showtime etc. Just say you are looking to switch to Showtime and get ur free trial then you can cancle before your billing cycle starts.

    Rigo stands there for 90% of the round and does nothing. Shimoda actually pressured Ramos and outworked him to assets Rigo has yet to "box off".

    Styles make fights and SHimoda and Rigo are completely different fighters and Ramos has looked impressive in some fight and watching almost every one of Rigo's fight I think you have pretty low standards or are blinded by the hype because saying Rigo looks "fairly ****ing good" is a huge overstatement and the minute he fights someone who can apply skilled pressure and can take a good punch Rigo will lose every round and probably get stopped late seeing as his style is throwing 15 punches a round so going a hard 12 rounds I'd find difficult for him to do.

    **** I'd fancy Shimoda over Rigo as long as he doesn't walk into anything big like against Ramos.
