Roach is an idiot. Floyd ADMITTED that he fought Shane that way to please the fans. He said that he normally doesn't fight like that but wanted to do so to give the fans what they wanted to see: a toe-to-toe battle. Well, Floyd did that, and Shane was nowhere to be found after round 2.

Roach is just scared, IMO. He knows how excellent Floyd is and he knows that his fighter is in serious jeopardy of losing should he ever step in the ring with him.

 

Yeah I noticed some of them, but they were just far too few to even get a bearing on whether you could call them a success. It's not impossible to land a body shot on Floyd. The difficult part is landing enough of them on a consistent basis

That is just a narrative he is trying to sell the public on, because after looking at how Mayweather destroyed Mosley, it would not be unreasonable for the public to think Pacquiao has little chance, and if enough people think this, then the Box Office will be less.

He always talks ****, and he knows it. If Pac beats Floyd, I will laugh so much if people say "Floyd's legs were gone, he's shot". People always believe Roach when he says stuff to discredit Pac (which is stupid from him). But this pretty much confirms he's talking **** and he doesn't always believe it. Of course some are very selective, and only believe Roach when it doesn't benefit Pac.
