With todays Mayorga..... this is such a mismatch. Ill watch it just because it will be entertaining, but vintage mayorga is done.... his heart hasnt been in boxing since before the spinks fight (is when he first hinted that he wanted to retire) and now he just gets beat up for big money..... i still like him but its just the way it is.

Mayorga will come forward right into mosleys faster shorter punches, and mayorga doesnt take punishment close to as well as he used to... and mosley will wreck him inside of 5. Mayorga is not mayorga anymore.

To be honest I think Mosley can stop in the early rounds. Oscar took him apart in like 5 or 6 rounds a fiew years ago. Mosley by ko.

Mosley has only KO a shot weak chinned Vargas once in the last 8 years and 13 opponents.

I'm not saying Mayorga wins, but I would not count him out. Infact I give the stronger Mayorga a very good chance a beating Mosley.

What does Mosley have? Speed? I didn't see it against Cotto, Forrest, or Winky. Power? I haven't seen this power since Adrian Stone in 2001.

Mosley was a really good boxer pre Forrest, but he is as done as Mayorga.

Mosley isn't looking so great either, he's well past it at this point and that will be very clear in this fight.

if mayorga came in at 147 he might actually be in shape for the fight, which is obviusly not a possibility

Agree. Mosley isnt koeing anybody these days unless the fighter is very damage and shot like Vargas.. He can win by a decision against Mayorga but i cant just see knocking him down.. I bet that Mayorga will not be affected if he lets Mosley take a free shot at him :yep

You guys will see..... Mayorga is totally done. I am rooting for him but i see him getting finished inside the distance.

Mosley is coming off beating collazo and pushing cotto to the limit.... lol... and you guys are acting like hes as past it as mayorga? lol....

If you cant see that Mosley is going to use Mayorga as target practise and as a trampoline for a relatively easy fight agianst a 'name' then you guys need to go back and look at their last couple fights again....

its a mismatch at this point and it will show during the fight

I'm going against the grain with this fight.
Mayorga will shock the boxing world.
(And if he don't, He don't...)

But for the sake of it
Mayorga by T.K.O. in 9RDs. (Age will show)

    1. The fight is at 147.

    2. Mayorga's toughest fight was Oscar in 2006 was it? It is nearly three years later, and he got his morale back with the V against Vargas. I personally think that Sugar will be an easier fight than Oscar. Now we all know how much **** I talk about Trinidad-DLH, and the way Oscar fought, it's hard for MOFOs to talk back, because there is little they can say to defend the Golden Panties except their laughable "he was winning, 9 rounds" crap that just tells me they dont know how to score a fight.

But the Oscar that showed up that night to fight Mayorga was a Terminator like ****ing nightmare. Why he didnt fight Trinidad like that, well, he has to sleep at night dealing with that ****, not me. Mayorga has faced the devil, and Sugar should be no more of a problem than Feroz was. Sugar is a bit faster, but after the Cotto loss, his morale is dead.
