I think Tarver is going to get knocked out by Aguilera

I dont' see how Tarver can hold off Aguilera who is a beast, a big strong brawler with power. Tarver is 41, I can't see how he can peck away at Aguilera and keep him off with that lightheavyweight power. Aquilera looked good in the Peter fight but Peter is too strong and skilled. Peter's much improved with hand speed and head movement though it didn't work at all against Wladimir in the rematch. Tarver might get steamrolled here, brutally knocked out. Bad choice of picking Aguilera, they should have gone much softer. Aguilera is big trouble. If anybody sees Tarver winning, please explain how?

Aguilera isn't really that good, but him getting a KO wouldn't really surprise me.

I doubt Tavern makes any noise at heavyweight. He is way too small and doesn't punch hard enough to be effective against a heavyweight. Add to that his advancing age and decreasing activity.....plus he isn't really a slick fighter. I really don't see good things for Tarver at heavyweight

Aguilera is not in Tarvers class. He beat Maskaev who had nothing left, but he isn’t skilled enough against world class boxers.

Tarver will beat him by 7 round KO in a dominating fashion.

I think Tarver is an excellent boxing commentator, but he is a boring fighter with an extremely low work rate. I don't think he's going to get knocked out, I see Tarver winning via a very lackluster UD.

Tarver had stamina issues at light heavy, his move to heavyweight isn't going to be good I think.

Tho I wouldn't go so far as saying Naggy was a beast, I was saying a lot of the same things when this fight was first announced. From the little I've seen of Aguilera, he at least has HW power, some quickness, and can pounce when given the chance (ala vs the ghost of Maskaev) and I don't see how Tarver's gonna avoid that all fight long. Tarver's old and weak comparatively to a 24 year old HW (tho smallish himself but sill HW) like Naggy. I'd say it's a bad matchup for Tarver's first HW fight if he wanted an easy night, but since there's no point to a Tarver HW campaign it'll be a good choice b/c he'll likely find out that he doesn't belong (even if he manages some type of decision).

I don't and can't see Tarver getting KO'ed in this fight - but would love to see his big ass mouth shut for a change.
