It will be very convenient for Floyd if Cotto was to save him from fighting Williams.

Floyd's looking only for old or easy money right now. While I give him props for fighting Hatton, Hatton isn't a top WW.

Mayweather will NEVER fight a hungry, prime WW. Make my words.

If he doesn't, that will be a shame because he has the ability to beat them. That's all I ask for, Floyd fighting only the best.

That's it right there. PBF always claims to be the best around, but then he refuses to fight anyone who is a genuine threat. I'm 50 years old, so I remember a bunch of truly great champions. Some of them did not have anything close to Floyd's real ability, but they would by God fight anybody that was put in front of them. Having grown up watching guys like Ali, Frazier, Haglar, Hearns, Duran, Danny Lopez, Arguello, et, it is impossible for me to take PBF seriously. Cotto is a prime example of how Floyd loses the respect of many fans, especially older fans. Mayweather could probably beat Cotto. I sure as hell would not bet against him. However, I seriously doubt if Floyd will ever fight Miguel. He'll come up with some bogus reason not to, or he'll retire.

Sorry partner you dont beat Malignaggi, Quintana, Judah, and SSM and not be a little on the slick side. Saying he isnt? Is just typical of the mindset that refuses to give credit where its due to Cotto. Which is rather:-(( really:yep

Yes, Hatton has more difficulty with slickness but he appraochs it differently. Hatton will PUSH Floyd, Cotto will BEAT HIS ASS:good

If its so easy? Aint nothin 2 it, but 2 DO IT!!!!:D

Hmm it is true but he only had one fight there right? Maybe we should not judge to quick on this.
Especially because it's only 1 weightclass, it's not like he jumped/has to jump 3 or so. Plus he already walks around pretty much above 147..

I find it funny that all you people ridicule Floyd.

Who has already asked for this bout? Floyd.

    Who said no? Cotto.

Floyd will fight Cotto as long as Cotto doesnt chase the big money of a De La Hoya fight or the Williams bout. He'll go after Paul and avoid Floyd for now in my honest opinion.

A fact most of these idiots always fail to mention in their ridiculous posts. Don't make a thread about PBF ducking Cotto when in fact he already offered to fight him at 140 it ruins your credibility. These double standard posts are too much.:-(

The thread isnt about Floyd ducking Cotto.

The thread is about his fans here who think he should have Cotto prove himself more by fighting other fighters before he gets a crack at Floyd, which is ridiculous.

how bout you fukks wait and see what happens before your fly traps start spewing hot garbage. He has alrady offered to fight Cotto before Arum said Cotto wasn't ready i for one think neither fighter is ducking or scared it just takes time and i honestly think Floyd will take on Cotto i really do not see any other fight...i just cant see it.

If not for the De la Hoya bout, May might still fighting on regular hbo, with a sold out of 5,000 or 6,000 espectators at max. Floyd is not a draw, De la Hoya, Trinidad, Vargas are ppv atractors, and Gatti, Hatton, Cotto, are masive crowd atractors, Floyd are none of them so stay out of his nuts and see the real life.
