I think the lions would be a little to much for Cotto. 1 lion I can see Cotto beating. But 2 is to much.

You know that Cotto was not ready for Floyd at that point in his career.

He had already won a title and beaten many contenders and prospects.

And besides, according to most posters like yourself, Mayweather was never really the man at 140 anyways. So, Cotto would have been fighting another paper title holder right?

And I hate to tell you, but today's poll comparing what Mayweather has done and what Cotto has done at or above 140 favored Cotto heavily.

Yea but Promoter like Arum know that puting Cotto with Floyd is not a goob business decision because he already have spent a good amount of money againstCotto to put him so early to the lions so he make him took another step. But know is the time to goand this fight can be made. Floyd at that time was a big risk low rewar oponent, at that time Cotto's paydays was not great, and Floyd would not going to make him milliosn just a few tousand more.

Resumes are for newbies? No. Resumes are a proving ground.

Skillwise, Zab Judah is at the head of the pack. His resume proves he is not.

Fighters like Cotto show their skills early, and prove their skills against great fighters.

Got to go to work... where have you been anyways? Welcome back.

Eh. Moving from Boston to NY. Its been hectic the past month.

Personally, I don't see the difference in the Miguel now than the Miguel from the past. He has never lacked confidence and had decent amateur experience. Surely, he is probably more confident now, but Floyd is bigger and stronger now, negating the advantages somewhat that Miguel would have had, especially at 140. Hopefully now Miguel feels ready.
