Just how good Winky is. He made Tito look like a rookie. Roy looked pretty good tonight but I do not think not take Winky.
roy and winkys styles are on two different ends of the spectrum... vargas gave winky a hell of a fight were as tito brutalized vargas...styles make fights and roy would give winky all he could handle.
The way you get Winky is by being active. Roy's speed won't bug Winky because Roy will just land one and done on gloves anyways. Winky negates speed by playing the turtle counterpuncher game. Both Hopkins and Taylor kept it close with Winky by forcing him to work. Just tap his gloves constantly and make him throw the jab. Make him attack. Offer him angles and then close up before he can find you. Hopkins is a master at that. Lateral movement seems to work really good on Winky too. Something Trinidad didn't have much of. Nor did Mosley when he faced Winky. But you would really have to wear Winky out to have a chance against him. And I don't know if Roy at this point can do that. His body probably isn't as healthy as Hopkins.
Great post I am glad someone else on here has some logic.It is so hard to read posts on here of people talking up Mike Mollo lol. I am glad there is someone else om here with a little bit of sanity.
