I think the Hatton camp underestimated PBF's stamina

I think in their gameplan they expected PBF to wear down and tire. They were expecting him to come in unprepared after the Dancing with the Stars and they were hoping the relentless Hatton pressure/attack could tire him out.

PBF is one of the most dedicated fighters today from a training perspective. Hatton has been tired in fights but we've never seen PBF get tired. I think that is one of the biggest surprises Hattons corner was seeing as the fight went to the late rounds and PBF still had energy, they didnt have a plan B.

Everyone knows PBF trains hard but we never seen him pushed to the limit, usually he can box from the outside on his way to a wide UD. Props to Hatton for making him prove his stamina and inside game is there. Hatton made him have to fight hard.

Hatton and Graham made the mistake of thinking pressure was Floyd's weakness, i think Floyd can be beaten with educated pressure but it has to be done behind a stiff jab. Hatton simply wasnt good enough last night, plain as.

yeah thats what i was thinking during the 24-7. they tried to present Hatton as the endurance fighter but they didnt really emphansize how hard PBF trains. His stamina was always there it just usually doesnt have to be proven. PBF showed he was stronger and in better shape than hatton.

Team Hatton totally underestimated Floyd. I was suprised. You would've thought Floyd was the underdog and Hatton was the favorite with the way each prepared. Floyd never got tired, and had an answer for everything Hatton threw at him. Hatton did not adapt at all. He fought the same way that he fought Castillo. Big mistake. You have to be able to make adjustments in that ring, Hatton couldn't.

    Genius at work!

ODLH threw how many jabs and still lost? Does Ricky even throw jabs? Hatton doesn not posess the boxing skils to beat a Mayweather. His stamina and heart (which is a lot) has taken him as far as he can go in this game, IMO. You have the UK version of Arturo Gatti on your hands so to speak.

I think we all underestimated Floyd's power at well ..Not sure what rd was it but Floyd caught Ricky with that streight right andfrom that pt Hatton was a bit timid just following Floyd around !

In round round 9 Hatton threw 8 jabs and didn't land 1 of them.

Strength and Stamina. They felt they could wear him out, by pushing him around, but found out that Floyd was a bit bigger, and a lot stronger than they had expected. Also, Floyd has great stamina as well... but it was his strength that was able to body Hatton off.
