As humble as ever Manny said "I respect Ricky and he's still a great fighter. He's big and strong and i'm lucky I hit him first. The last punch was a hard punch and I think thats the hardest punch i've ever landed. This for me is as big a victory as the Oscar De la Hoya victory"

He's far too humble. No luck about it, he was by far the superior fighter on fight night.

You're right about him being classy, but I think he's also correct about that punch.

That was a sickening punch. It reminded me of Hearns/Duran, in the way that Hatton just folded as if the bones in his body instantaneously melted away. Incredibly clean, and just crushing.

What an absolute gent. Only Pacquiao can wallop a guy into next week with a murderous left hook and then wish them well 5 minutes afterwards.

Hatton convinced him self like he did in the Mayweather fight that Pac and Floyd would not be able to stop him because he survived Tzyu's bombs and the worst case scenario would be losing on points.

Shiiittt.....Paquiao was looking at the floor winging with his head down......if he would have missed he would have fallen face first himself. Lucky shot........If he would have been looking where he was punching I would congratulate him.

That is not to say that Hatton was not going to get KO'd anyway the way it was looking.

Lucky my ass, he ate Hattons punches like they were Scooby Snacks, but Hatton just couldn't do the same.....but to Hattons credit, no1 under 147 could of took that 1 and stayed on his feet

Hell that 1 might of even dropped Mosley and Margarito, at the very least wobbled them...but uhhh, yeah it was def. The hardest punch I've ever seen him throw, and that says alot

He did it vs JMM. It's a counter punch when he does that. It works well for him.

    Hopkins does the same thing.

Manny is class. Making it sound he got lucky, when in actual fact he was so much better than Hatton in every aspect. That last shot would have knocked out a horse.
