http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYZ4ZE3Zv-g this is the best i could find (only looked for about 5 minutes) it states marquez's statement said he would take testing, but i also found a bunch of articles saying freddie roach said when he suggested taking said tests marquez backed away from it, to which arum put out his own statement saying was false.

i think they definitely suspected marquez of using steroids but what i cant understand is why pac (the A side) could not demand it ? i honestly think they let it slide simply because they did not want to look like hypocrites with the whole testing issue that came up with mayweather years ago.

yeh well marquez is 40 years old or so now and your right he never really looks hurt, but his been that way his whole career. every fighter is different, hopkins still has a good chin at his age where as manny is a wierd case, he went from being knocked out to having an iron chin and walking through shots from world class punchers to now having a suspect chin again

its hard to tell until pac faces someone with decent power and is able to land on him, i dont remember rios doing much and bradley hit him with some decent shots (1 i think in rd3 that got pacs attention) but after that he was just swinging wildly for the fences. this is why i loved the idea of pac going solo, i see plenty of young guys who might actually do something to pac or atleast testing him, im still gob smacked he re signed

VADA was definitely around and had already popped Berto and Peterson. Maybe that's why Pacquiao was apprehensive about using them? :think

Marquez is 40, 41 when they fight. He's old, where's the glory in that? Plus, he got robbed at LEAST once.

And you think Marquez declining a drug test is suspicious, yet you're defending Pacquiao?

I'm starting to see how you think. Everyone else deserves the benefit of the doubt even when they are proven guilty but Pacquiao deserves the book thrown at him without proof.

^^See what I mean? You never bothered to actually read anything on the Balco trials did you? Didn't know that Memo was the source of all the drugs, nor that he set up a full doping program, the schedule, the delivery or the PEDs? Or is it that you are just another *****?

On second thought JMM fighting Pac again for the 5th time would be one of the best things JMM could do for the sport he will KO Pac again and rid the forums around the net of *******s once and for all.:deal I'm all for the 5th fight, it will mean certain death of the *******.:happy

It's shocking the hate you have for Pac that you would ignore the clear signs that JMM is backed by a full doping program. And a program that has a clear intention of avoiding VADA testing.

It's shocking that you back Pac on him not testing but bash JMM for the same thing. You *******s are the biggest hypocrites in boxing. With that said I support random drug testing and think it should be mandatory in all title fights.

I agree that Marquez is VERY suspicious; however, for a while there Pacquiao was pretty suspicious too.

Until commission catches something all are innocent until proven guilty. Marquez is Pac 3-5 years ago in terms of accusations.

WTF you smoking? I'm not bashing JMM for not testing just for the sake of not testing. I'm highly suspicious of JMM because he's working directly with Memo. That's like hiring a pedophile as a babysitter. Wtf sort of logic is that? Hire the most infamous doper in US history as your conditioning coach. Right, makes perfect sense huh?

it's suspicious, but did he pass the tests? Yes. Isn't that enough?

Honestly, I think commission needs to strengthen the testing on ALL fighters. Waaaay too many fighters have gotten away with doping.

For now though, has passed all required tests so completely innocent until proven otherwise.
