I know you've accepted you was wrong about Crawford and you now give him lots of credit for proving you wrong about Postol.

Will you do the same for Ward?

Both are bang in their primes. Ward isn't as quick as he was at SMW but they are both prime boxers at the top of their game.

hahaha you defend little g for fighting a ww, and you defend his awful c level resume, no one is surprised that you "sense an injury news soon". Are you going to give Ward an ounce of credit once he beats Kovalev, or are you going to go back to making excuse for little g fighting a WW, and trying to make it sound like it's not a big deal lmfao.

Look at Kovalev against Sillakh - he was much faster then.

Why would Itskowitch leave Roc when he did with a fight this big on the horizon?

That was your canary in the coal mine right there.

Its odd but it does seem that unless I am missing announcements that lately I dont think Wards fights have been confirmed until late on.
Smith I think was around 2 months
Barrera I think was a bit less
Brand I think was also less than 2 months
They to my knowledge all seem very short notice
I have thought this with Wilder also but may have missed announcements

Maybe the Kovalev fight wont be confirmed until around 6/7 weeks before the fight for some reason?

Contract has been signed for months. I know someone who works for RNS that gave people the drop they were signing Ward, who said this with the exact date Nov 19th, months ago.

You're actually on to something, but the bandwagon Kov fans are at an all time high in confidence lol... They aren't trying to hear anyone right now. Crawl to GG, then Loma then Kov. That's how it's been going lol...

Throw in Frampton ducked Rigo and AJ is taking PED's and scream Povetkin has been cleared? Classic.

You won't get an explanation. They are not as confident as they were when Garcia and Matthysse fought. Lesson learned. We heard it all then, and even the excuses afterwards.

Stevenson is the one who went to Showtime to hide from Kovalev the first time to hide behind Haymon. The deal was almost done.

The first few times you watch Kovalev fight, he can come across as just a typical robotic European-style slugger. This type of guy can be outboxed fairly easily (see Kessler, Abraham).

But Kovalev is more than meets the eye. Look carefully and you'll see a lot of strategy and crafty tricks in his game:

    [YT]watch?v=Mfr2MHuwNMs[/YT]

I believe Andre Ward called out Kovalev because he thought he was a just another Euro-robot. Later Ward watched him more carefully and realised Kovalev was actually a dangerous opponent for him. In fact, Ward a few months ago stopped calling Kovalev out, and started using more fishy language like "I need a tune-up" and then "I need a second tune-up" and then "I need a third tune-up" and after his last fight he said "It LOOKS like we're gonna do this fight".

Ward is not going to fight Kovalev. He'll find a way out. Lots of people like me, Forza and even some boxing journalists have been predicting this for months.
