-Taken from a celebrated writer on another site.

"Rembrandt must have painted the way Miguel Cotto fights. The strokes of the master's brush were probably like slow motion versions of the movements of Miguel Cotto's hands during a fight. Watching Cotto fight is like enjoying the subtleties of a great renaissance masterpiece; there's rich color and detail in his performance, his jabs are straight and accurate, his body punches are delivered with care, his left crosses and right hooks are issued with awesome potency".

Cotto compared to Rembrant? How about comparing him to the man who paints the gate to Money Mayweather Mansion? There's nothing artistic about Cotto's work hes good, very good but a masterpiece? I think not

Cotto is a good fighter but in NO WAY is he what's described in this article:roll: But I guess that's how it is when a fighter gets "HYPE" from the public:-( The compliments in this article should have been about Floyd Mayweather:D:good

I saw that before. Listen man you gotta understand something. EVERYONE is gonna have an opinion on everything. Just because Bernard Hopkins stated his opinion DOESN'T mean that's the actual fact. Oscar Delahoya and many others said Hatton was gonna beat Mayweather. Almost EVERYBODY back in the 80's thought Tommy Hearns was gonna beat Ray leonard, they also picked Hagler over Leonard also. Alot of people thought Holyfield was gonna get destroyed by Tyson. Obviously we see how all that turned out, just because Hopkins is one of the greatest champs ever DOESN'T mean his opinion is accurate:good

Damn:-( Obviously they made a believer out of you. Have you ever heard of the expression styles make fights? I don't think so:lol: Cause if you did you would know every fight is different. What in your mind actually makes you think Totto, yes I said "Totto" is gonna do that to him?:think Zab's defense is leaky, Shane's defense is leaky and Shane hardly uses his legs cause he likes to trade so much. I'm not at all saying Mayweather vs Totto wouldn't be a good fight, it would be a very good fight... At the beginning:lol: Just as you heard hopkins talking about Cotto adjusting, well guess what just in case you might not know, FLOYD is the BEST at adjusting. I give Cotto 2 or 3 rounds before Floyd figures him out too. Totto can beat ALOT of fighters in the world, just NOT a PBF:good:happy

Id Miguel wants the fight that bad then stop acting so ****ing uncomfertable when Floyds name is mentioned and call him out. I dont give a **** if its not like him to do that do it anyway. You want something you go after it its that god damed simple. Both are acting like pussies right now but more so Floyd.

I agree but not just a UD or cuts, possibly a stoppage. Arturo Gatti said himself he's been hit by big hitters and he didn't think Floyd had pop like that. He said Floyd hits way harder than people think he does. Not to say I think he's a bigger hitter than Cotto, but he'll give Cotto enough shots to make him think and slow him down. He'll outclass Cotto with superior skills and brain power.

    What the ****?

Rembrandt was born in 1609. The renaissance had already ended. Sorry, author.

Look I like Cotto as much as anybody, but we need to put things in perspective....He was fighting the 3rd place runner up from the Contender.I don't see how people are using this performance as a gauge of how far he has progressed. You put any of the upper tier welterweights in there saturday night, the outcome would have been the same.

I know you guys are salivating at the thought of somebody beating Floyd, but lets be realistic and not go overboard praising what we saw Saturday night..He clash with Margarito will be a more accurate measuring stick
