    Show me where I said he was a brawler, or like Gatti. What I said was (Now read this VERY carefully) "HE HAS SOME POP TOO".
    Now how in the hell can you get the two confused:?:patsch. That is my number 1 complaint about this forum, people like you who read a post and can't comprehend it or , read some **** that ain't even there.
    If you have a different opinion than me or don't like a fighter I like , I have no problem with that. This board is for expressing that, But damn dude stop reading **** that ain't even there.

    Thank you for the nomination , If I win I've done what I set out to do. I named it that on purpose. I did it to get people curious as to who I was talking about and stop in and discuss it, and it seems to have worked.


    Now the real title is Pernell Sweet Pea Whitaker is the best defensive fighter period!!!!:yep

    I love watching this guy just for the entertainment value alone, he puts on a great show every time. His defense is good but I have seen a few fights where he got hit a little to much during the course of the fight. While his elusiveness is something to be admired he isn't a ATG defensive fighter.

    damn right. he was unique, awkward, fun to watch and a tough test for ANYONE (just ask mayweather). but he wasn't a defensive master...watch his fight with ward, he got hit a lot. ****, now that i think about it i might go watch his fight with ward...

    augustus does got good defense too consisting slips, rolls, and ducks but he should block more as well. Augustus lack of following and already ruined/robbed record keep from getting the credit he deserved. I thought he got robbed in his previous fight against a prospect. pea, if u weren't such a noob beside acting like an internet tough guy u wouldn't laugh about it. bet u can't do **** but sit on ur ass and scratch ur ass and talk **** on esb.

    Incredible defensive fighter, and he had a great offense, hitting his opponents with perfectly placed punches they never saw coming.

    Certainly the best defensive fighter of the modern era, far above Mayweather also. People consider Mayweather a defensive wizard, but he doesnt compare to Pernell.

    I never claimed to be anything and boxing is just one of many hobbies of mine but i am a big fight fan and bet on a lot of fights. i put my research so i can pick winners.
