I think Thurman would be a more difficult fight for Crawford than Spence.

Spence has the faster hands. there's no doubt in my mind. Especially the right. Just watch both their fights against Bundu. It's obvious. Thurman may have the better / faster jab, but we're talking about power here.

And Spence has 3" more reach than Thurman, so his hands are actually moving even faster, for a given distance.

Bundu said that Thurman hit him harder. He said when he blocked Thurman's shots it vibrated his entire body. Bundu also used a lot more movement against Thurman than Spence and Bundu was two years older when he faced Spence. I do not think there is any reason for Bundu and Porter to lie about who punches harder. You are making this a bigger issue than what it is.

Idk why everyone is always disrespecting Thurman, he is one of the most underrated fighters around, but so is Brook to be fair and he would beat Spence in a rematch.

If Thurman can get back to where he was I think I would have to agree. His footspeed and handspeed are both superior to Spence's, and because of that I think his straight right hand would be serious obstacle for Bud's switch hitting to overcome. But as of right now Errol is the guy to beat.

I really hope Keith can come back to full fitness.

I think Thurman should have a tuneup then fight a top ten Welter. Then, fight a top 5 Welter and Unify.

the fight for the kingdom comes down to crawford vs spence, nobody else can stand against them. they should take thurman, porter and both garcias, for 2 fights a piece, and then meet up around this time next year. this will build up the showdown without any loss in momentum and guarantee the event of the year.

Your recommended path to Spence/Crawford will never happen:
    1. Thurman is in no hurry to fight someone of their caliber without taking one or two tuneups. Even then, we cannot be certain that he won’t suffer another major injury that keeps him out for an extended period of time. Spence/Crawford need to move on from Thurman if they ever hope to fight each other.
    2. Porter sounds like he would rather not fight Spence. Plus I think Danny Garcia has something in store for him.
    3. Mikey Diva will not sign to fight Spence or Crawford. He will hint at wanting to fight either guy and eventually settle on fighting someone like Rey Beltran or another LW fighter now that Regis Prograis is lurking at 140. I really hope Robert Easter Jr. can pull off the upset next month. I used to like Mikey, but am officially off his bandwagon.
    4. Danny Garcia is going to be Porter and be in he same boat as Spence and Crawford, waiting for a pipe dream to face Thurman. Given a choice between a fight with Spence or Crawford, I think Garcia chooses Crawford. Then if he somehow dominated Crawford and looked invincible in the process, very very unlikely, he would agree to fight Spence.
    5. Don’t forget that this fight needs Arum’s blessing in order to happen. Arum being the “Master Chef” that he is will definitely do everything in his power to marinate the fight. This means we can expect to see Crawford against the likes of Alex Saucedo, Carlos Adames, José Benavidez Jr., Mike Alvarado, or Pacquiao as a “build up” to a fight with Spence.
    6. I have no idea what PBC has planned for Spence. However, I’m sure it will leave us fans extremely disappointed with multiple “showcase” fights for Spence.

Sure it would, against Spence he's right there to make it a fight. Crawford would have to catch RunTime first. And well, they don't call him RunTime for nothing.

Could be, Thurman has great athleticism and beastly power. That alone is difficult to overcome for anybody, regardless of skills.

Thurman is the guy to beat at welterweight, hands down.
