I think Tommy Fury is in big trouble against Jake Paul.

No idea if he’s on anything, but if that was the reason for the pull out they would’ve made sure everyone knew about it.

It’s gonna be enjoyable to see how Fury can duck him for a second time. Best scenario for him is if Paul decides to fight someone else, but I still think of realistic opponents (ie not Diaz and Masvidal) Fury is the best option when you consider quality of opponent and public interest.

 

Didn`t Dana say that when Jake called out Conor? Then again Dana said Rousey could beat male MMA fighters in her weight class.

 

I think so. I think Nunes herself even said she would fight him, so god knows how deluded and clueless she must be if she thinks she would stand any chance in that one. Jake Paul would easily crush her in an MMA fight, never mind a boxing match. Maybe she just said it because she knows a fight like that would never be allowed to happen.

Dana White on the other hand is a good business man who knows how hype his product, he doesn't believe this stuff he comes out with. It's just the ******ed MMA fanbase who lap it up and believe it, like Ronda Rousey being able to beat up Floyd Mayweather or Conor Mcgregor being the most dangerous puncher Floyd Mayweather had ever faced.

He'd never let Conor Mcgregor anywhere near a boxing with Jake Paul, that's for certain.

To be fair to Big Joan Fury, he thought he son was getting it stuck to him in Ru Paul and quickly reversed into it with his trousers on back to front.

At that level Paul is legit, he'd be a nightmare for Tommy Fury because he can take a punch, can hit hard and isn't scared. This is utterly embarrassing for Tommy and the family, they've talked very big on this and done nothing.

 

Boss knockout and wouldn’t like a smack off him. However, and I’m not being negative, it’s still hard to say how good he is when a) he’s never fought someone who is primarily a boxer; just basketballers, wrestlers, and other youtubers, b) everyone is old and past it on top of not being a boxer c) everyone he fights weighs about 2 stone lighter than him on top of being past their prime and never actually boxed before

 

The question for Tommy now is where does he go from here because quite clearly he doesn't really fancy himself as a boxer, he has zero personality and every year there are another dozen of his kind entering whatever kind of celebrity World that he is part of, the lad has shot himself in the foot big time and his dad trying to ride his coattails has ended up dragging him down to his levels of losing your bottle when you're called out embarrassment.

 

Seems very similar to Eddie Hearn and how he communicates and relates to the casual boxing fans, who dutifully swallow whatever narrative Hearn and Matchroom feed them without ever questioning the legitimacy of it.

 

Never seen the fight but brutal knockout. I,d be putting a stop to the celebrity boxing thing if no vada testing tho off the back of that.

Only a matter of time till someone gets badly hurt. Jake pauls got to be a suspect for being on something....hes never really boxed before growing up. Fair enough hes a strong kid thats been working hard....but the suspect is in...hes not even putting his full body power into that shot to get that result. Going back to mike tyson....these guys we,re getting their bodies behind their shots...we,re throwing technically very well to get them kind of results. Nowadays these guys are generating power without the technique and without getting their full body power behind the punch. Somethings a foot i,d say.

Again never really seen the fight...but who knew a youtuber who wasnt athletic enough to make a go of it professionally at any sport can just turn to boxing at 21/22 and start throwing that sort of power about.

 

He has been getting better training that most pros for the last 3 and a half years, that is more than enough time to learn how to throw a decent shot. Throw into the mix he is fighting people natural smaller than him who aren't boxers, and it isn't difficult to see why he is koing people. It isn't like he is suddenly sending to sleep granite chinned boxers.

 

People get hurt at every level of the sport, from amateur up.
Woodley dropped his hands as Paul looked to the body and threw an overhand right, good shot, subtle nuance, signs of improvement from training but ultimately not something aided by juice. He's been living the life of a real professional for the last few years and has probably had a better training setup than most pros who are not at a championship level. That just cannot be overlooked.
I'm not saying he's not juicing because it's naive to believe anyone near the top of the sport is clean. It just becomes a game of resources. Who can afford the best medical teams and therefore the best juice? I think we can ll agree that The Paul brothers have the financial clout to have the best resources available.
