Yes, that's probably true. And as another poster said, after the sheer graft he put into his career, must be galling to (potentially) see a novice 'pro like Tommy Fury be in a position to earn such a big purse after achieving very little in boxing, other than a social media spat with another novice.
Not at all, as if in the UK, Tommy Fury will drive alot of the ticket sales and TV revenue, not so much, if fight was in America.
Primarily ego. For someone who has achieved what he has, he is often compelled to put himself out there, probably looking to boost his self-esteem.
Jake Paul will deal with Tommy. Whatever you want to say about Paul he is dedicated and focused. Both of which Tommy isnt.
Got to give it to Tommy he knows how to make a threat. The stakes are high and who knows what the consequences could be if he carries out his threat and doesn’t tweet again.
Done a good job with Serrano too and regularly calls out Dana White on the poor pay his UFC fighters get. Winds up Tommy and Fat John a treat too. All the rest of the Youtubers are muppets but at least this Jake Paul fella appears to have a brain.
Fully paid up member of the Jake Paul fanclub for this one. I also would be amazed if Tommy doesn't pull out.
I actually wouldn't mind watching the fight. It's the build up I will do my best to avoid. Big John Fury Raw and Uncut, no thanks.
