I think Tommy Fury is in big trouble against Jake Paul.

Technically no, both are complete novices who have fought nobody of any note.

Both pro licence holders? Gonna do big numbers on ppv? In britian? It's generating more interest than most "proper" boxing bouts wether you like it or not. So it's rightly in the British boxing forum.

I hope Jake Paul wins because outside of a KSI 'superfight' I think his time in boxing is slowly coming to an end and he'd rather go down the MMA/PFL route which I think he knows appeals to his younger fanbase more. Also, it will be good to get another useless Fury family diva bellend out of the limelight once and for all

What evidence is there that he will fight anyone? To my knowledge everyone he has fought so far have been handpicked for him to beat. Old, small, non-boxers?

Jakes having a go and wouldnt like a dig off him, but the world champ talk is nonsense from him. For starters he doesnt even fight in anactual division were you could become world champ, he just makes all blag weights up like 188lbs that suit him and fights there to suit him. Thats without the more obvious reasons

I don’t think for a second his goal is to become a world champion

He is saying he aims to not only be a world champion but a dominant world champion! I am laughing hysterically but you can't hear me.

That’s what he says. A long shot I know. If he is being truthful, it’s a massive ask.

I've no idea. How would we know for sure if he's turned down any fights?

What I do know is he is in total control over who he fights and is very selective about who he takes on. That much is evident.

Absolutely sod all to show he will "fight anyone"

He appears to be down to fight anyone who wants to fight him. While I get what you're saying, if we apply that logic to every boxer the term "will fight anyone" becomes redundant, how can we prove anything? On the face of it it looks like Paul will take any fight he's offered, which is more than can be said for his opponent.

Not every boxer has the luxury of choosing every detail on who he fights, when, where, what weight and how many rounds though!

    Well, that's your perception.

Fact is so far he could have fought anyone but has opted to fight old welterweight/middleweight MMA fighters, the smallest ex NBA player he could find, and a YouTuber who is smaller than him. This can be proven.

Could he have fought anyone, is that a fact? Could he have fought Wilder, Tyson Fury, Usyk, Okolie, Makubu, Alvarez etc? He's definitely picked some easier fights so far but he's literally started boxing a couple of years ago or so, now he's picked the hype machine that is Tommy Fury, a bigger guy, and twice Tommy Fury has bottled it.

    lol You're really reaching.

Right, so all evidence we have suggests he has deliberately been picking easy fights with men who are significantly smaller than him. Yet to you this equates to him being willing to fight anyone??

Just accept that you made an unfounded comment and move on with your life.
