I think Tommy Fury is in big trouble against Jake Paul.

I certainly agree John is a lot moire emotional than he lets on, for example the phone call and tears he had after the second Wilder fight were very real. But he clearly gets caught in the moment of much - I still remember him shouting “Paul Butler!!!” Over and over again after Fury beat McDermott in the second fight. Clearly he’s seen the young, smack talking going on between Jake / Tommy and thought a good think to do is talking about Jake’s girlfriend but he’s completely misread the room.

Tyson is clearly getting paid to get involved, he normally has little to do with Tommy’s training. Tyson being around makes it much bigger.

 

Might be simpler saying that without Tyson (or even big John) being around, it's much smaller. How long until they all appear on Good Morning Britain drumming up interest? Frank enjoys that show...

 

I highly doubt. With his criminal record and the fact it it’s fairly recent when he was inside, he’ll never get into the states.

 

Only watched a few minutes of the presser. Seemed like a pointless event considering it was via video call.

What's the script with Paul refusing testing?

 

BT have put out a statement apologising for the press conference earlier in the week.

Fury had to fight on channel 5 even when he won v Wlad he didn`t get much attention, this what he said caused his depression.

 

Can't make a proper judgment off a training camp clip.
Paul's only been in one real fight and Woodley should have put him away but for some reason didn't finish him off after he landed that straight right flush and had him hurt bouncing off the ropes.

Tommy Fury didn't look as bad in his last fight as some would make out. He's lacking a bit of power but his boxing fundamentals are better than Paul's.

 

Paul`s got hands and real power.

 

I appreciate his coverage wasn’t brilliant, but he was well known all of his career and well followed even if the TV deals weren’t the best.

If Tyson is training him then I think Tommy loses. Tyson is not a trainer. Tommy should have a proper trainer.

 

Does he really or has he just flattered to device due to fighting non boxers? Looks athletic and powerful but technically I think he's awful
