i think uysk might lose to the bobby breidis

Usyk deserves to be the favourite but any of the other 3 could surprise on the night!!!

Briedis at times looks so dynamic and powerful, although I fear size will hurt him in the finals
Gassiev is simply a man mountain, throws with a thudding force but his lack of speed and inexperience as well as domineering trainer might hurt him in the finals. This kid needs a better trainer and he will be a real force.
Dorticos is the dark horse IMO, his record speaks of an immense talent but lets so how he does in the final, was he simply that good or was the russian hammer simply made of plastic?

Usyk toys with him. He will control and confuse the **** out of Briedis with his lead hand probes and jabs and upper body feints.
And then there is Usyks movement.

 

all 4 of these guys could move up to heavyweight and have decent results in my opinion. I think all 4 would have a shot at the top 10 lol.

 

Mairis Briedis is a big guy, almost as tall as Usyk is. Briedis has hands reach advantage and yes, he is a good and quite dangerous boxer. But guess what? This tournament's idea is to have eight best cruiserweights in the world fighting each other, so yes, anyone of those can actually surprise his opponent.
But Usyk is a great boxer, he's taking this fight very seriously (is training in the mountains now), he's strong psychologically (a deeply religious guy) so he will just try to show his best in the ring.
I would say 70% Usyk, 30% Briedis.

 

Actually Usyk is contemplating this idea very seriously. But I'm not sure it would be a smart move for him...

 

Usyk will out class all the cruiserweights, he knows what he is doing in the ring!!!

 

He definitely has a chance. It's more of an even matchup than most people are saying.

Usyk is very good, but a bit overrated by some, while Briedis is also very good but a bit underrated.

Breidis isn't crafty or smart enough to defeat Usyk. Gassiev & Dorticos would starch him.

You need to be able to match Usyk's IQ and be VERY well rounded in other areas. Usyk is levels above Breidis.

I love Gassiev, but he doesn't have enough sense of urgency to beat Usyk. Usyk will set the pace, and Gassiev will march to Usyk's beat.

A lot of clueless/casual Boxing fans seem to hate the rise of the EE/Soviet fighters, but Usyk is special. He will go down as the greatest ever Cruiser before he retires.
