Wardley couldn't be missed and Dubois still didn't knock him down although he was out on his feet a couple of times (point still stands) Would Hrgovic still be on his feet after that much damage from Dubois ? Clearly Hrgovic is better but idk is he's the most durable in the division. Wardley said Dubois didn't hard as he thought but Dubois is obviously a massive puncher, those shots he hit Wardley with were some of the loudest punches I've heard from Daniel. Wardleys punch resistance is probably gone now tho
It isn’t a meaningful comparison. Both are clearly not even remotely lacking in durability and can count on being the more durable guy in a fight (unless they fought each other, in which case it’s Wardley’s superior power vs Hrgovic’s superior boxing skills). Past a point of an attribute being damn good, other attributes become the important ones.
thats what im worried about. He took a lot of bombs from Dubois. Dubois is kinda chinny himself, and also took a lot of damage. Wardley could pull off the win if Dubois is cracked and Wardley fixes what failed him. I guess will find out if that chin and mental fortitude is cracked.
Wardley has a excellent chin but Hrgovic is on another level. The Zhang fight is exhibit A, I genuinely think Zhang may be the heaviest handed heavyweight since foreman. Another reason I simply couldn't understand people saying Moses would blast Hrgovic out early.
