I thought the definition of P4P was based on how a fighter's skill set would fare at any weight.

I guess by what has become the popular definition of that term, I agree with your list.

:good Yep that's how it looks. Thanks to this, it's starting to look a tiny bit like the golden 80's(Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Benitez). Now for them to start fighting each other... Aside from those 3 superstars, there's a truckload of pretenders that sooner or later want a piece of them and their claim of being the best (Berto, Kirkland, Alvarez, Jones, Dzinziruk, Lara, Cintron). If all these fight each other it would be a great time to be a boxing fan.

Agree. I think we could also put in Marquez/Wlad as 4/5. They could switch places in the same way that I think putting Martinez #2 with Floyd as #3 is not really a blasphemy.

I agree with VecArrow, if you don't have Floyd Mayweather ranked as number one p4p, then we should have Martinez on the top followed by Floyd then Pacquiao at number three.

Martinez was a force last night. Like VecArrow and Michigan Warrior and Duck Dodgers we have Martinez almost tying Floyd's number one spot. Tremendous force. :good

Seems like the vast majority of people here would agree that, for whatever reason and in whatever order, the top 3 is Pac, Floyd and Martinez. Which I really cannot disagree with.

Martinez is easily above Mayweather on p4p list, its not even debatable.

    1.Manny
    2.Sergio

3.Mayweather, Floyd would have a shot against either one, especially Manny, but he will not fight anybody. Sergio at 160 would be too much for him.

    1 Manny
    2 Mayweather
3 Martinez or Juan Manuel Marquez

I disagree. Maybe one and two can be Floyd and Martinez in any order at this point. Although I see Floyd edging him in the top spot just a bit, but it's ok if they rank Martinez as numero uno. I have Pacquiao at number 3.

    01. Manny Pacquiao
    02. Floyd Mayweather
    03. Wladimir Klitschko

If anybody wants to have Martinez or Ward at #3 instead, I'm not one to complain.
