    AJ, Fury, Wilder.

How exactly are these fighters going to be surpassed and by whom?

AJ, most athletic fighter who ever existed. Great punching power, combined with superb boxing skills. Knocked Wladimir Klitschko out, who reigned for a decade.

Fury, even taller than both, yet slick and fast like a LHW. Even out of shape, still a threat and he is going to be in good shape again. The one and only man to make Wladimir Klitschko look like an amateur.

Who would have thought, that Wladimir at his prime, would be beaten so easily? He may have not been at his highest peak against Fury, but it was less than a year when he destroyed Pulev.

Wilder is not a boxer but he's a fighter, has an awkward style, probably the hardest puncher P4P right now. He has beaten legit boxers and made it look easy.

Look at these three men, how can you surpass them?

You have more talented guys for Joshua on the way as well....

I've covered this era , fans will only get angry at you bc they apparently feel the need to defend other eras , and don't like current eras ....only in boxing where they don't want current era to be better so down play it . Lol

It's the best talent wise, and might stay that way for 20 years or so, but it will eventually be surpassed. That's the way of things, at least until human population levels off and we don't keep seeing a rise in available talent pool.

I think this is a decent era coming out of a terrible era which came out of a fantastic era. I think the top guys now are better than the fodder that faced Wlad for the last 10-15 years but the top guys of the 90,s handle this era,s top guys. I cant see Joshua and Wilder standing up to Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson

The heavyweight landscape today is almost identical to what it was in the 1980s.

    Compare 2018 & 1987 (31 years ago)

Joshua - Tyson (undefeated & unified alphabet champs)
Fury - Spinks (undefeated lineal champs)
Wilder - Tucker (undefeated alphabet hold-outs)
Usyk - Holyfield (undefeated rising cruisers)
Parker - Bonecrusher (gritty former alphabet champs)
Miller - McCall (physically strong, tough Americanos)
Povetkin - Biggs (Olympic Super Heavy champs)
Ortiz - Buster (big guys with skills)
Whyte - Bruno (strong Pommies who can bang)
Breazer - Razor (big punchers with big hearts)

    The more things change...

All the talented Big guys today are at cruiserweight, as back in the day they were around the same size. The heavyweights today are generally and simply too big and plodding to be considered more talented than the cruiserweights.

I just think they were better. I think they were of a higher quality. Im not saying Joshua couldnt put up a fight against Lewis or Wilder couldnt put up a fight against Tyson, there isnt a big gulf in class, there never is. 1990,s top 10 just felt heavier in talent and the top guys of now feel like they are just not as rounded, Joshua is basic Wilder is seriously full of holes and the top guys from the other era would sniff those things out like a shark to blood.

Yes and between them they beat Sefer Seferi, Harold Sconiers and Dustin Nichols.
    This will never be surpassed.

It's turning into a great era for hw boxing.

Plenty of exciting fights to be made, some exciting prospects coming through as well.

It's always difficult to compare eras and fighters but it's quite rare to have a top ten like today that throws up so many 50/50 fights. Wilder, whyte, Parker, Ortiz, pulev, povetkin, miller, Joyce, h fury, t fury etc all could probably beat each other or at least give each other a close scrap. AJ I feel is top of the pile but he's not unbeatable either.

Wlad was not prime when he lost to fury , he was shot . It was a terrible , ugly fight.
And Wlad in his prime beats fury and joshua without much problems.
If joshua ,wilder and Fury are the best of this era, then this era is the weakest HW era ever.
