I think we will get Cotto vs Berto in 2011

I dont think Cotto is the same fighter, thats why I got Berto by UD or maybe split. Prime Cotto beats Bertos ass though.

 

Big Cotto fan, and if this bout actually happens I will be rooting for him like mad. But I think Berto just nicks it.

I would throw Zaveck in the mix. Berto and Zaveck fight each other next year and the winner gets Cotto. Meanwhile Cotto has another easy fight under Stewards guidance to gain some confidence. If you think about it, it makes sense. Berto and Zaveck both have titles and Cotto could in this case hold two belts which would increase his marketability. It would also be highly interesting in case of an upset.

 

i'll only buy the fight if there's some good undercards.... i dont care for either guys

 

both fighters have their flaws. however, the flaws i have seen from berto up to and including the quintana fight lead me to believe cotto would win this. may not stop him but would win this. cotto can still box folks. margo and pac pressured him to death but i don't see berto doing that.

i also think that with the huge amount of money arum would make keeping cotto in house against the pac/margo winner...this won't happen. but i agree philla...good fight.
