I think Winky Wright should face Felix Sturm do anyone agree?

I'm sure Mundine was promised a shot at Sturm to vacate as quickly as he did. Someone said they have heard the talks have started. Winky needs to fight his ego and purse demands.

 

Sturm should Abraham or Pavilk.

winky is still one of my fav fighters, but damn the man needs to sign a contract and get some ring time in, especially since I think he beats all but pavlik at middleweight even though I'd give him a hell of a chance against kelly. Hell, if he could make the weight he could try and clean out 154. But like someone said, all he wants is big fights so there's no tell when he will fight, if ever again.

He needs a BIG name opponent to make any kind of money.He will NEVER be the headliner.

 

Abraham offered to double Sturm's biggest pay day and got turned down. You think he is going to fight Pavlik? Mundine was offered Sturm to vacate as quickly as he did. If Mundine can make MW and actually fight at that weight, it may be the only way that belt leaves Germany before Sturm's 65'th birthday.

And, he has 3 fights at MW. Last over a year ago.

 

Sturm will never leave Germany agian he only left because DLH and we all know why he would do that. Winky isnt a complete fool he wont go to Germany at this stage of his career.

 

those would all be good fights for Winky. but I think he gets a bad reputation about his ego . after all he did beat Taylor I thought , with the draw he deserves big name fights . he deserves respect. He dropped his belt he moved up , then he moved up and fought at a weight that he never should have . hell why doesnt some one feel that they could knock him out and go after him to own that .
I would like to see Winky vs Miranda personally

 

I know, I know . . . reason why I'm hoping Sturm loses that goddam belt.

 

AA threw some big money at him and he turned that down. I've never seen him fight. Where would you rank him at MW? IF Mundine gets down to MW would you favor Mundine?

How about Winky Wright vs. Kelly Pavlik?

Wright's loss to Bernard Hopkins (to my knowledge his last affair) was a very close points loss at Light-Heavyweight. I think a good, solid match could be made between Wright and Pavlik.

But hey, if we must, we could see him fight Felix Sturm. I think we can all agree Wright would whip Sturm silly, thus, it would take longer to make the Pavlik fight.

Because it's obvious Jones and Calzaghe (both more powerful in the business of things) want to fight each other for mega-bucks, and Pavlik is left looking at his options (few at Middleweight, at the moment, with Abraham-Miranda II, considering he ALREADY beat Miranda, and IF Abraham wins that COULD be a big fight down the road).

 

Winky Wright should stop overpricing himself and stop crying.

It would be a replay of Winky-Quartey, except the other way around.

 

Let's just put it this way Pavlik, Abraham, Winky or even Locket will beat him. If Mundine goes down . . . yes I would ALSO pick Mundine to beat him.

His last few opponents are shits. 16 - 0; 14 -0 and got a draw with Randy Randy Griffin who is merely 24 -1. That should give you an idea on what level Sturm is.
