I think Wlad has done enough to make the hall of fame.

Yes, I agree with you, and by the way, I'm about up to here, sick of, that is, of all the damned criticism and just plain hate directed at Wlad, after EVERY fight, EVERY defense. He wins every time out, and does so efficiently, and catches it from all the morons out there.

I hear what you're saying. But, that's pretty much what most champions go through while defending their titles. I grew up during the Mike Tyson era. While everyone agreed that he was pretty much unbeatable, a lot of critics attacked his opposition, saying how week his comp was. And when they ran out of tricks after he beat Spinks, then all anyone could talk about was what an ******* the guy was. Then came the Douglas loss, and all his haters had a field day.

Wlad will get his dues eventually. He has a good resume and is building it diligently. Additionally, he's very intelligent, has a good disposition and personality that makes him a far better role model than most champions we've seen as of late.

:-( If your gonna troll do it in the general forum you are clearly clueless when it some to Sonny Liston and if you seriously rate Sander and Lamon on par with him then you need to educate yourself on the sport.

Wlad should be measured on his own merits, which are numerous and impressive in number, and upon his flaws, which are still somewhat notable. At this point, I wouldn't have any issue with his inclusion into the IBHOF, but it certainly wouldn't hurt his case to fight at least a couple more opponents that present a more credible challenge than his last two opponents. Should he get by Povetkin, and a couple more credible opponents, he'll not only punch his ticket to the HOF, but come that much closer to being worthy of discussion as an ATG heavyweight.

    We'll see how it goes.

LOL @ you, I am sorry, Sonny is sooooooooooooo overrated it is not even funny.

    Marciano will beat him

Ali DID beat him EASILY and that was the green version, lol, not even laced gloves helped poor Sonny. His "murderous power" could not get a blind man out ? Or was he finally meeting someone who could fight and was not a 180 pounder with a glass jaw ? Remember "get up you bum" after the phantom punch ? Pure quit , plain and simply.

    Foreman is beating him

Holmes will beat him as easy as Ali

Tyson will absolutly pulverize the slowmotion Ugly Bear

Holyfield will outhustle him while Sonny looses his heart

Bowe will ko him going toe to toe

He will never reach Lewis questionable jaw and gets UD'ed or quits when his shoulder hurt.

The K brothers will take his head off, especially VK.

Against the Golden Shot he already lost convincingly.

Now calm yourself down with another HBO "documentary" of big bad misunderstood Sonny.

He's a definite, after a few more wins, of course.

I still can't believe to this day that he lost to Ross Purrity.

Ross is a tough bugger...much like Holy nearly did against Cooper, if you fight Ross the wrong way it can go wrong. Wlad wanted that stoppage too much.

Well, the General Section has gone haywire since Manny's win over Oscar De La Hoya so it doesn't surprise me to read a comparison between Foreman (or Liston) and Wlad.
In my eyes, he will need a crushing victory over Haye to make it to the ATG status (top 30 maybe).
I do think he did enough to enter the HOF but the stupid comparison with Lennox career or Foremans needs to stop right know.
