He may be a arrogant idiot but he clearly takes his training and the sport seriously..I know some people will never give him credit but the guy hasnt tried cashing in on fighting cans..I dont think i know anyone that in their first 4 MMA fights have the likes of Herring,Mir and courture on their resume of opponents. Yes i cringe when i watch his Pro wrestling like antics but hey the blokes also doing some talking with his fists..
I agree..Im prettysure hes getting payed shitloads to fight on Affliction cards and also doesnt have to worry about being tied down to ridiculous contracts imposed by Dana.. Fedor's one of those guys who doesnt need the ufc to build a legacy and build the Wallet..Truth be told the UFC need him more then he needs them. Also if Affliction can continue to serve up opponents of AA and Big Tims calibre then why would he bother with UFC??
Mir and Brock are probablly fighting at UFC 98 so having the winner fight at 100 would be very unlikely and obviously be impossible if they dont fight that night at all.
I wouldnt even care if Fedor stepped in right away fighting for the belt. Hell if he did fight at 100 id be very cool with him fighting the winner of Shane Carwin and Gabriel Gonzaga so the crowd that isnt fimilar with him can see just what kind of badass he truely is. I think alot of the UFC only fans are starting to doubt just how legit these Pride greats are that come over and struggle greatly or get beat down like Kang,Nogueira,Shogun,Wanderlei,Cro Cop,Aurelio ETC.
