I though Mares was suppose to get "school"

Mares is great I don't understand why all the hate, he puts great fights and fights everybody

Hard to fight a guy hitting you low, and charging in with his head. They take a point away from you for holding his head to stop him from headbutting you.
As for me thinking Moreno would school him to begin with. I never thought that. Guy is moving up to fight a bigger Mares, and his punches aren't that crisp IMO. Moreno is a good boxer, but not a great boxer. Still, if Mares had to fight without the dirty tactics, would get called for bull rushing, I think the fight would have been around a draw.

 

Coming into this, was confident Mares would do it.But Moreno is a hell of a boxer, he has earned the respect.I felt Moreno was gonna be exposed tonight.He didn't really.If anything he showed why he is a champion and minus the KD he might of won it. Close action packed fight.

 

I'd love to support Mares but the guy throws so many low blows its disgraceful. I hope he gets the doniar fight so that he can get his head caved in like montiel did.

 

120--106 was a ****ing joke. And that ref was a ****ing joke too. I don't know how the guy gets away with all his dirty ****ing tactics in every fight.

 

Mares sure knows how to beat the **** out of these so called slick fighters. Agbeko and Moreno are dirty wannabe slick fighters who got their ass whooped by Mares. WHO NEX?

The fighters getting hit south of the border were all taller than Mares so unlike some dirty fighters Mares lowblows were unintentional. Moreno sure is a helluva boxer glimpses of Sweet Pea, but Mares is on a path to greatness. Mares deserves p4p status Moreno is the cream of the crop Mares beat him fair and square.

Santa Cruz had the easier opponent to look good against.
