I Thought Ali Won The F.o.t.c.

Interesting stats I think I had it 8-7 Frazier but it was close, Ali swept the early rounds, something like the first 5 on my card

If anybody believes Muhammad Ali won that fight, then they have no business in
scoring a fight or making a judgement.

That decision was clearly Joe Frazier's.

If anybody ever deserved the decision..of the greatest fight of their career to boot...it was Joe Frazier. He was almost superhuman that night.

In fact it was so clear that Ali won he left the ring before the decision was announced.

NO Ali lost and even he knows it. No matter what kind of stats you give if you watch the fight Frazier won. If that's not enough just watch Alis reaction at the end of the fight and post fight.

Thanks. I score it very close to how Aidala scored it: 9-6 or 10-5 for Frazier, depending on how much emphasis I put on effective aggression. The fight always seems closer to me than my scorecard because Ali had good moments in almost every round.

Smokin Joe changed the tempo of the fight in the 3rd Round.

Muhammad Ali had hit Joe with his best punches, and Joe was still coming.

With 10 seconds left in the round, Joe landed his potent left hook. Ali was hurt
(later acknowledged by Arthur Mercante).

It took Ali awhile to recover from that punch.

 

This is crazy talk.

 

If anyone would have gotten the benefit of the doubt it would have been Ali and if the fight were close Ali would have been given the fight. Frazier landed the harder shots and had Ali badly hurt in the 11th round and then capped it off with the KD in the 15th.

Both men were battered, Frazier around the eyes and Ali had a swollen Jaw but IMO there was no way the fight could have been given to Ali short of a robbery

Frazier won it and put some chocolate icing on the top with a cherry but nothing is easy

 

Actually yea, i think u are the only ****ing person alive who thinks Ali won the Fotc

But Frazier took it.

Somewhere between 8-7 and 9-6.

For me, most of his status as a top ten ATG rests on that victory.

 

The only person on the planet that had Muhammad Ali winning was,

Radio Talkshow Host, Art Rust Jr.,,,,,,,who was admittedly,,,,,an 'Ali Shill'.

The guy even scored the last round even,,,,,, which lost him respect from the New York Boxing Press.
