I thought Bellew was disappearing to become “Anthony” ?

When did he remove that whole ''ban drug cheats for life" thing from his Twitter header?

As for him being a good pundit, he's only on there because he's Hearn's mate, same way Froch and Nelson are. They all read from the script Hearn provides them with before fights. It's all pre-rehearsed, same as Adam Smith's commentary.

Good spot. Maybe a phone call was made?

Hi Anthony it's Eddie. Things aren't going well. Would an obscene amount of Sky/Dazn money tempt Tony out of retirement?

That Bellew KO, Fowler getting dropped then losing a couple of months back and Joshua losing vs Ruiz have easily been some of my favourite boxing moments of the last 12 months.

Joshua might well get a battering from Ruiz again. Whyte deserves a lengthy ban. The casuals aren't going to pay for Usky, Hrgovic, Smith(except in Liverpool).
Maybe Belloo returning from a brief retirement is an easy way to keep the Sky PPV and O2 ticket money rolling.

A stereotypical Scouse gobsh!te. Loves the sound of his own voice. Will preach humility but a more c0cky, arrogant bellend you will not find.

Also strikes me as the kind of fella who makes out he is best mates with everyone when they can't really stand him in real life.

Years ago boxing commentating was done by seasoned pros like Harry Carpenter, Reg Gutteridge. It was a pleasure to listen to them. And Boxing was free.
Why would anyone pay to listen to narcissistic bellends like Tony Belloo and I've only had battered onion rings Froch.

I have to admit I warmed to Bellew a bit when he got absolutely flattened by Usyk, maybe the bullspit was knocked out of him? but after a few appearances on Sky it was business as usual, shameful hypocrisy. him trying to convince people Katie Taylor won her last fight fairly with no question was transparent in its bias, even Froch had the sense to see the controversy.

you cant really take a word he says seriously, so the fact he is in a position like that is really damaging in my view, it clouds the reality of what happens in fights. he isn't "real" at all, he is only real to his own agenda which can change like the wind. I don't hate him either but I'll just switch off when he is on as his views are pointless in my eyes, unless its comedy value, unintentional comedy though, hes not very funny either :ciappa:

Good post. He was Hearn's best man at his wedding. Haha did he remove that twitter line? Rather telling.
