I thought Beterbiev would be figured out at top level, but he's too physically strong

He had 4 fights 2017 through 2019. OK he may have had managerial issues, but he needs to fight a little more, and step up the level of his opponents. IMO.

Beterbiev is an absolute great amateur and has great skills. He is a very good boxer, on the same level as gvozdyk and bivol, but he is a fu.... hulk in the strength caliber and he just chops you down.
An absolute machine and I am a big fan

    AB has one B- win.
Fanlong ain't the man to beat AB, AB is very selective of opponents

Canelo... would be a step up money wise. The other Alvarez. Kovalev...faded for sure but still active I believe. Bivol for another belt. Breidis at CW and Makabu and Glownacki for bets. Usyk.

Only Bivol beats him and not easily.

Beterbiev is a true talent at LH and I think he’s a great fighter at the weight. I hope he fights Bivol because it would be a great fight. Forget about him moving up to CW. That’s a 25lb jump and I don’t think he’s big enough to beat top fighters at 200. He needs to stay at 175 and unify the division. He’s not a big guy and is already pretty old, although still prime. He’s done growing and is perfectly suited for 175.

Wilder is another step up. But other than asking a fighter in an active division with a single belt to move up, Bivol is the only fighter in the division that is a step up from Gvozdyk. Even then I'd put them on the same level.

Smith was after a fight with AB befire the Bivol fight as his team felt it was winnable.
I don't recall why AB shunned him but he did.
