the first time i saw the fight was yesterday and i was impressed with this performance. Paz reminds me of hatton in many ways, using the strength to bully you into the ropes and land huge shots.

Camacho was a good technician, but he just didnt punch hard. The fight with Chavez he tried to get some respect and keep Chavez off of him, but he just wasnt strong enough. Camacho did have an excellent chin in his prime as well and always went the distance. He wasnt a runner against Sugar Ray Leonard.;)

camacho ran alot at 147 and higher as he was in a weight class that was very effective for his body

Its not as much about running as not sitting down on his punches. He tended to throw off balance a lot more following Rosario because he didnt want to get clipped with any big counterpunches. Then, as his age and weight increased, he moved even more, furthering his "running".

did you see this fight? Camacho wasnt running, he was boxing beautifully and sat down on some great fast combinations. I was surprised, b/c I heard so much about him being an absolute runner after rosario, I think he was just a runner when he went above 140, b/c the weight was too high for him, a former 130lb titlist, to be effective.
