    Oh please. You are making unsubstantiated speculatory statements in a desperate attempt to make Manny look like a hypocrit. The fact that we are even talking about blood testing now is because FMJ brought up Olympic style blood testing instead of making the fight with Pacquiao. That was all FMJ.

    FMJ bringing up blood testing for Pacquaio created tension between the negotiations between his team and Pacquiao. he gave interviews suggesting Pacquiao was on PEDs and that is why he wouldn't fight him unless he had blood testing. it was like a PR campaign by FMJ to not have to fight Pacquiao. FMJ just wanted an "even playing field". that meant Pacquiao was cheating. That's why he was sued and rightfully so. also his many backhanded comments towards Arum were another barrier to negotiations. These antics by Floyd were seen by the majority of the boxing public as ducking Pacquiao. Like the catchweight here, the shenanigans were created by FMJ. First he wanted blood testing, and all but accused Pacquiao of being on PEDs. Then he had a problem with Arum. Then he fights Cotto at 154 and says "catch weights are meaningless". Then he turns around and demands a catchweight.

    turbotime, you said you have a problem with "acting like it's only Floyd". that's not it. it's that Pacquiao has not done anything as hypocritical as the stuff that FMJ has done. even the stuff that you accuse Pac of being hypocritical of when it comes to drug testing, that whole scenario was created by FMJ. If FMJ hadn't come out and demanded blood testing and accused Pac of being on PEDs, then there would never be an article about how it's "news" that Pac wants random testing. that wouldn't even be an articie had FMJ not done what he did.

    Both are hypocrites. You appear to be the only one who is oblivious to that fact.

    wow talk about bias. I can't wait to see Floyd continue to rise and Pac continue to fall, then you all can find a new hero!

    IMO having a testing window (2-3 days, but I'm ok with 7) is just fine, with the regular post fight test. Anything more is obstructionism. I know it's all "random", but if I were Pac and got tested on the day of weighin or fight night, without his opponent doing so "randomly", I'd be seriously pissed. And AFAIK there's 0 transparency behind this random testing schedule.

    I have a great idea. Floyd/GBP is only wiliing to work with USADA cause they agree to their limited disclosure clause. OK fine, let them handle the testing, but let the less tainted VADA determine the testing schedule!

    Did Manny speak about needles or blood testing recently? If not, what makes you say "needles suddenly never hurt Manny"? Where are you getting this from? Because he reportedly agreed to standard urine drug testing for the fight with Rios? Isn't that standard in boxing?

    Yet Manny could have slapped floyd right in the face by saying, OK I'll take the test like young gymnastic girls do in the Olympics. Instead Pac came up with a gazillion excuses---needle phobia, makes him weak so he was concerned for his safety, need to build an outdoor roman colliseum ...

    And yes I do find it odd that Mayweather asked for them out of the blue but honestly unless you are on something why would you not take the test? Any other fighter would have and all have since said yes. It's BS Mayweather is trying to clean the sport. I don't believe that for a moment. There are two reasons to avoid tests---ducking or guilty.

    FMJ is a more safety-first boxer. Pacquiao is a more action-packed fan friendly go-to-war boxer. Pacquiao also is a politician in the Philippines. Whenever you get into a Pacquiao - Mayweather discussion, it also turns into an either or. Believe it or not, I'm not a Pacquiao fan. I'm simply a neutral boxing fan. FMJ is the P4P best boxer in the world due to his in-ring boxing skill no question about it. I had him #1 throughout the last 6 or 7 years, definitely since he beat DLH. Even when the media was infatuated with Pac-Man, I still had Floyd #1. When it comes to in-ring boxing, FMJ is undefeated, Pac-Man is not, he's been knocked out and defeated multiple times. But when it comes to stuff outside of the ring, FMJ is clearly the one causing all the friction. Again, remember anything along the lines of blood testing was 100% created by Floyd as a PR campaign to not have to fight Pacquiao. This doesn't make me a Pacquiao fan, it's very clear to any neutral observer.

    And sure, he could have agreed to blood testing, but maybe he was paranoid about it or something. he was under no obligation to cater to Mayweather's demands. Mayweather was the one being unreasonable, at least in his mind. Who has ever demanded olympic style blood testing prior to negotiations? wouldn't you feel disrespected if someone accused you of being on roids or PEDs if you weren't? FMJ was giving interviews about how Manny was on PEDs, and how he wants a level playing field, FMJ is trashing Manny's promoter, Arum. How are you supposed to sign a megafight under that type of environment?

    I know they all use these sort of tactics in pre fight negotiations. I try to not get caught up in the hype because I know it is mostly just talk. I just don't believe the fight was ever going to happen. Floyd has not fought a top rank fighter since he left and Top rank has never fought a Golden boy fighter. So when these fake negotiations start I tend to think the fight will not happen because it NEVER HAS!

    Gazillion excuse....*****s:lol::patsch

    PAC took care of it like a man and gave Catchweather and his whole families the right to tell the whole world what a peds user he was. When the time came none of the Mayweathers were anywhere to be found, they all hid in their little crack holes like mouse. A bunch of ***s biting their fingers claiming I've never said PAC was on peds:lol::patsch. The ***s got so scared they even gave PAC big money just to make it all go away:lol:. Suddenly Manny was a great champion and have never used peds:lol::patsch...what a bunch of ***s.

    Even if that's true, who created these sticking points? why was FMJ demanding blood testing? he never demanded it before that, did he? the only reason I can think of is because he suspected Manny was using banned substances. has it ever been proven that Manny was using banned substances?

    You're calling Manny's team "full ******" for not agreeing to a completely new type of testing with needles demanded by the Mayweather team. Manny never had to get poked with needles before fights before. (that wasn't a requirement in boxing) Instead of focusing on Manny, why don't you ask yourself why did FMJ even bring up blood testing when the world wanted a megafight between Floyd and Manny?
