I thought Floyd let the fans pick his next opponent?

Floyd is so delusional he believes his own hype.

 

Fans did'nt pick his cherrypick, so he said, "****you, I fight who I want!"

pick khan - he won the main poll but lost on just about every other poll by landslide, floyd gets roasted for picking a guy who has not earnt a shot in the slightest and haters claim the main poll was rigged as every other poll was a landslide in the opposite direction


pick maidana - personally i think khan offers more of a challange stylistically but maidana certainly earnt his shot, he won all polls but the main poll, floyd gets roasted for not picking the winner of the main poll

 

Stylistically Maidana is made to order for Mayweather.
Its a mismatch of the highest order to anyone that knows just an ounce about boxing.
Khan offers a stylistical challenge to Mayweather which he has not seen since Judah, who btw took the first 5 rounds from him.
You damn right its the reason why Mayweather should be fighting Khan instead of Maidana.

I'm certainly not going to buy the Maidana fight and I hope others dont either.

As far as I remember, Khan won one poll(Mayweather's website) while Maidana won the other two public polls. That said, why the hell would anyone complain that Maidana was picked unless you're stinky inbred *******. Khan has done absolutely nothing in one year and never had a fight at the full 147lbs limit.

 

i agree im dissapointed more then most he did not pick khan personally but if he did i would have been a little dissapointed that he did not take him after he had earnt it.. khans still young so i hope he can get a few good wins under his belt. even 1 big win can earn him the fight but it should be a good scalp

 

Both Khan and Maidana are total mismatches. Khan offers little beyond his speed and a jab. Poor to average in the areas of balance, defense, ring IQ, footwork, chin, accuracy. He is NOT a tough style matchup because he is devoid of ring smarts and actual technical skills. He does have a chance at winning more rounds than Maidana (like 2), but Maidana's razor-thin chance at landing a Hail Mary bomb is still higher than Khan's chance of doing something worth a damn after the 3rd round.

That said, it's true, what the hell was the point of putting a poll on his twitter? So he could pick the loser?

 

Khan and his team know that his future is in jeopardy which is why they're aiming for a big payday against Mayweather quick. Anyone random could literally knock Khan out and off this payday for good and the Diaz fight was the ultimate sign to this. It would have been an insult to the sport for Mayweather to pick Khan based on his twitter victories and domination. In the ring, Khan hasn't done **** in a year to deserve this fight, Maidana on the other hand clearly does.
