    Why do so many americans think Haye isn't popular here because he is coloured, Khan isn't liked because he is a muslim? They both get better numbers than Froch lol. Don't spit your feathers if you aren't one of them but it is constantly recycled BS on here.

    Whoever thinks both Khan and Haye don't get attention because they're colored or whatever are idiots. Both Haye and Khan get INSANE attention in England, Khan obviously gets more. The British support their athletes whatever they were, that's a well-known historic fact.

    actually haye's more popular here, he sold 700k ppv's fighting fraudley and against valuev did about a mil.

    but its probably because he's a heavyweight and khans not....

    I didn't know he sold that much fighting Valuev and Harrison. Publicity-wise though I believe Khan has been getting insane attention ever since he returned from the Olympics with silver medal and way too early in his career. I didn't follow how Haye was treated coming back from the Olympics but won't be surprised if it was great as well. I'm looking at it this way, when Haye lost to Thompson there wasn't enough serious talk going on compared to Khan's loss to Prescott.

    Khan got the attention early in his career but Sky didn't back him like they backed Haye. For someone so inexperienced, he did get great coverage on ITV but as his career has matured, his fanbase hasn't really grown. It will shrink now that he's on Primerime and not Sky too. He's just not likeable or charismatic enough to be a big British star and being good isn't enough.

    haye only recently became huge with the brits, khan got a lot of exposure early but he lacks the charisma and personality of a haye or a hamed.

    i think khan has been too 'controlled' he is often told what to say and follows the script too much, deep down you can see he wants to talk trash but frank W and now golden boy have him under a leash.
