Cool fight. Finally someone GGG'S size so we can measure what the hype is all about. I think Jacobs has improved immensely since Pirog and is 100% healthy this time, I think he's going to answer some questions I and other posters on here have pertaining to how good he is. Let's get it on!

Think it's clear isn't it. He finally signs after months and months, pushing the fight back and wanting a tuneup and a bigger split. Now the WBA set the deadline and he finally signs to avoid pursebids and having to either drop his paper belt and look like a Canelo, or taking the fight for less money.
He got backed into a corner and finally decided to save face and take the money + beating.

 

I don't know. But we heard that K2 was willing to give Danny a %30-35 share about a month ago. Some said Jacobs' people stalled the negotiations to push the fight on HBO ppv, which makes sense now you think about it.

 

I heard he was getting 3 mill, but 2 mill is much more believable.

 

Yeah, I think it's 65/35 in favor of GGG. Credit to GGG for giving up 35% to get the fight done. Now I get to see how good he is.

Well he's getting a bigger slice than the 25% that it would have been if it had gone to purse bid. So essentially Jacobs got what he demanded.
