As other have said, I was fairly confident Lennox could win a decision, so his performance was pretty surprising.

It seemed Rahman had gotten in his head. I remember the first round Rahman landed a jab that wobbled Lewis a little. The way Rahman was fighting with his arms out, I knew he was going to get KTFO.

I rather figured that whatever mistakes Lewis had made he wasn't going to make them again.

I figured after the first fight that Lewis had treatedc it as a gime.

I thought the KO was a lucky (but mighty!) punch from Rahman, and I had no doubts that Lennox would avenge that defeat in brutal fashion. He was always a far, far better fighter than Rahman, and was simply complacent on the night and got caught with an absolute bomb.

I shouldn't be acting too much like a know-it-all though...

I backed Pavlik to beat Hopkins

It was easy to make that assumption, maybe...Rahman was so full of himself...writing his own death certificate unawares by taunting and mocking Lennox so much, and more or less winning that grappling incident they had in the studio, while all that time Lewis was rather quiet..no doubt seething within, and could have given the wrong impression that Lewis wasn't as confident as Rahman. Sometimes it's the quiet guy you have to fear the most it seems. I got a tremendous amount of satisfaction in how Lennox avenged himself..I hate a mouthy, obnoxious ******* like Rahman.

I was hoping for a Lewis win but given that he was brutually knocked out in their last fight I didn't know what to expect. I give Lewis lots of credit for avenging that loss, as pyschologically it has to be very difficult to get into the ring with a guy who knocked you out and not have it in the back of your mind that it might happen again.

But as Lefthook said, once you saw Rahman with his hands extended, you pretty much knew how it was going to end. Still can't understand that as I've been watching boxing all my life and I can't recall any high level professional using that ridiculous tactic.

Especially when your opponent has longer arms and generates most of his power at the end of his punch.

I was confident that Lewis would win in the way that he did: Via a right hand of his own.
