I thought he won as well. I mean, yea sure Paul was coming forward the whole time and Martinez was tired, but he was beating the **** out of Paul the whole way, even in those late rounds. Clearly this was American judging protecting an American fighter. Being American, I have no problem admitting that.
It was a robbery...not because Williams won, but because one of the judges had their scorecard written before the opening bell. Close fight, could have gone either way.
I also felt Martinez deserved the win. Very close fight, but Martinez was the better fighter tonight.
I had him winning as well. But it was another one of those could've-gone-either-way fights. I thought Martinez landed more harder shots.
I thought Martinez won as well, he had cleaner, crisper, and more effective punches...yea Williams landed more, but they had little to no effect
I had it even going into the 12th and I felt Paul edged him in the last round, therefore I had it 114-113 for Paul. Could've gone either way though.......but I WOULD PAY TO SEE THE REMATCH AT 154!!!!
now u a$$holes crying about euro fighters 'robbing' americans can just now STFU. this was disgraceful
Yeah, I just think Martinez hurt Williams more, even his KD of PW was way more convincing. I personally had Martinez winning but I wouldn't have had any problem with Williams winning if we didn't have that 119-100.
Man it was close, I wanted Williams to win so maybe I had a bias when I had Williams winning. It was close and a great fight, Could have gone either way. I was glad to see Lampley acknowledge that bull**** judge giving Martinez only one round.
Completely different fight stylistically, but id expect KP to win by knockout. Stiffer jab and extremely hard right hands and body punches wearing PW down...but KP would have to get through some punishment to emerge victorious.
