I thought Pac killed him! Now Floyd has to beat Marquez up to show the world that...

he is the best fighter in the world still. I thought I heard Hatton's jaw crack after Pac landed the straight left. Hatton was unconscious when he got hit, and woke up after he hit the canvas. I screamed to my friends...lol, "He killed him lol". Hatton, if you want to be honest just hasn't seemed right since the Floyd loss. Lazcano had him hurt badly to the head and body. This doesn't take away from what Pac did for this reason. Hatton has still only lost one fight to Floyd, and he brought in a proven defensive trainer in Floyd Sr. I was so impressed with Pac because he came out so fast and so aggressive which was kind of unexpected to many...but not to me. I said Pac had to punch with power, and he did. The man has carried his power to what ever weight class he fights in. Pac landed hard right hooks from the door, hard body shots, and put him to sleep with the big left that Hatton never saw. Hatton's jaw hit his shoulder, nd it looked like how Hearns felt when he hit Duran. It looked as if Pac felt it throw his body. Pac is in full bloom of his skills. I was very impressed.

This is the Pac I love to watch. Pac is in his absolute prime now, and he looked superb in destroying Hatton. People will talk about Pac and Floyd's common opponents and how Pac beat them better than Floyd did...if that means much considering both won their fights with Dlh and Hatton...but WAIT ONE MINUTE LOL. Floyd has a date with Marquez, and if you saw and heard what Floyd said Saturday Pac fans lol...you better slow down clown! Floyd's fans are waiting until July 18th to litter the boards with "Floyd will stop Marquez threads" lol. PAc had his moment, and now it is Floyd's turn. Congrats to Pac on a big win in such stunning fashion. No Pac hating from me, just reality. Pac is a fight away from becoming a legend. that fight has to be against Floyd. Pac being too small for Floyd isn't an excuse anymore. Pac has a great chance against Floyd, and this is coming form a guy who favors Floyd over Pac.

Common opponents means nothing in boxing. Styles make fights. Junior Jones beat Barrera, Morales beats Jones, Barrera beats Morales, Pac beats Barrera, Morales beats Pac, Pac beats Morales. I can come up with a 1000 scenarios of this happening. Scream all you want Pac and Floyd fans about who beat who and how who beat who. Scream until your lungs collapse. The fact of the matter is PAc and Floyd have not fought yet. Floyd has to beat J.M.M to get his mega fight with Pac. Arum can't scream fight Pac at 140 Floyd or no fight at all, and Floyd can't scream Pac...fight me at 147 anymore since he is fighting J.M.M at a catch weight. If this fight isn't made, we will all know why.

Floyd looked superb last night at the announcement of his come back. He looked lean and sounded confident.

I hope this doesn't bring down the thoughts of my post, but I sat back and listened to my people's after the fight. There were 11 of us. We are all African American, and between the ages of 30 and 40. Believe what I'm saying or not. After Pac won my boys were shocked, and kept saying stuff like, "how could Hatton let PAc hit him so clean like that...why was Hatton's hands down...who was the last black guy Pac fought, has Pac ever beaten a black guy, and all this stuff about how black fighters this and that and how black fighters beat everyone including Mexicans", and all this junk. I had to school them on history from Sanchez-Nelson all the way back to Saddler-Elorde.

Two of my boys think that Pac gives Floyd hell, and one of my boys whose name is Wab said that Pac is going to put it on Floyd because two years is too long a layoff. We went on for about an hour talking boxing. I had to straighten these guys out because some of them said they saw PAc go down in a fight, and I said, unless you have PAc's early fights, you haven't seen Pac go down in a fight. They imitated PAc's punches, and they couldn't even imitate PAc correctly lol. I had to straighten them all out on Pac.

The point of this story is that PAc has to beat Floyd to prove to everyone, and not just the HBO shirts and Hollywood stars,...he has to beat Floyd to get street credibility. My boys know about Pac. They kept saying how Pac kept pawing his jab, and how PAc jumps in. They don't understand that this is PAc's style because they are so used to seeing how black fighters fight, and they think that PAc is a fighter with flaws. I had to tell them, that all fighters have flaws, even Floyd. They picked on me...(an ex-professional boxer and champion)for a sec and said that I was picking PAc over Floyd. Can you believe that:lol:? My friends of course were all filled with Coors Lite, Bacardi Dark and Patron lol. no fights, not at my house. They know that I don't play when it comes to talking out of your ass lol. Just keeping it real with you guys. I would love to hear how guys talk boxing at your cribs with your boys. I'd like to read about how other races talk boxing amongst each other.

There was never a "top black fighter" at the lower weights for Manny to beat. Besides thats a stupid statement. I can just say that Floyd has never beaten a "top philipino" fighter as well.
