I thought pascal had it...oh, well.

He looked stunned a few times but nothing serious. It answered questions about his chin for me. Pascal did get Kovalev to respect his power though, the first time I've seen someone do that to Kovalev.

 

Hopkins actually landed some harder shots on Kovalev, I guess he almost had it too.

 

That chin will definitely serve him well for sure against someone like beterbiev.

By no means do I think Pascal was winning the fight on the scorecards but he did land some wicked right hand counters on Kovalev that could have easily put someone on the canvas, Kovalev took them well. I also think the ref was too quick to wave it off.

Like I said, I don't think Pascal was winning at all, I'm just saying that the rematch isn't as pointless as some might say. I'd much rather watch these two go at it again then some other rematches like Mayweather vs Pacquiao, Wlad vs. Fury.
