I thought Sergio fought a very smart fight.

    Sergio IS overated, it shouldn't take a SO-CALLED P4P guy to stop those last two guys he fought. Those guys weren't mauch competition, yet SM thinks his showboating, hands down style is impressive to the crowd. I think this was a pretty boring fight ecsept for a couple of rds. and Merchant was right to be critical of SM's performance. He could NEVER beat, Floyd, Ward, Butte, Chavez, ANY of those guys with that style of fighting

    This sort of mis-logic is why most boxing commentators are ignored or muted today. Martinez fought a good solid and planned fight. He stopped the guy one round after he said he would.

    I think there is a reason why Sergio is fighting thes nobodies, and he is on the fast track to losing.
