    Man that's childish
I'm not here to have my posts rated and quite frankly i couldn't give less of a damn about how good or bad you think my posts are. Talk about the fight and at least try to back up you claims with factual data instead of making empty claimes from the "I said so" category.

Factual data so far says Thompson outjabbed and outlanded Klitshko with powershots.
Factual data says Thompson was the bigger man - he was as tall but weighed more and had a significat reach advantage (at least 3 inches i think according to the Tale of the Tape).
If these two facts combined isn't adversity than to you nothing is

COUNT ME AS ONE OF THE MORONS .... WLAD IS NOT , I MEAN , DEFINITELY NOT A P4Per, MUCH LESS A GREAT CHAMP. A LITTLE OVERRATED IMHO.

And who made him run out of gas and give up?

Thompson threw over 50 punches a round in every other one his fights. It not like he was out of shape, either.

And about the giving up part, he was certainly beaten mentally, but that short right hand connected perfectly to his chin and he never saw it coming. Maybe he could've gotten up, but that knockdown was legit.

I watched the fight online saturday afternoon. I gave Vlad about a 6 I thought that vlad holds and tries to tire the man out instead of punching. I did feel and still feel that he should have followed the right lead with the left hook early and he would have had thompson really beat up and it would have ended by the 7th. I also think that there were times against the ropes that Vlad could have stepped left and thrown crunching body shots that would have ended it. Now Saturday night I watched again I still have the same opinion. Klitschko does think out there more than any fighter I have watched. To do those things I mentioned are natural. He struggles with his natural instincts to keep to a Manny fight plan. Klitschko could be a lot better than what we think or he could be very vulnerable when he has to think and react in the ring. I just do not see any one on the horizon push him. Peter did and he still won with hard jabs and hooks and right hands. The same with Brewster and Byrd. We still donot know who the real Vlad is. he is still developing.

I never said the knockdown wasn't legit, I was suggesting he could have got up again but he'd had enough - you seem to agree with that.

I never said it was WALDS fault that Thompson ran out of gas either I was just highlighting the fact that he was a dead man walking from around the 5th-6th rounds and had he been in with a real champion the fight would have been over a lot earlier. Had he been in with a great champion he would have been out of there inside the first 4 rounds most likely. Still never mind, WALD beat Ray Austin with 1 hand, broke down the murderous Tony Thompson and KO'd prime Ray Mercer, all hail and praise WALD :D

Let us see the Plan for Povetkin. In my opinion is very good technical boxer busy smart and has a good team. Will we see a slightly different Vlad? I really think that Vlad will fight David Haye early next year after haye beats Oleg. Alot of people will be jumping on the Haye bandwagon and it will be a big money fight probably fight in England some place. Haye will not fight Vitali after Vitali beats Peter it is to risky for him to lose and lose out on a multi million dollar purse. If by chance Peter beats Vitali he may fight Peter for a big purse then fight Vlad but the sanctioning bodies will not want to risk losing control to Vlad. I donot think that they want the titles unified.

He should have used his best weapon (Left hook) and hit him to the body alot while Thompson high-gurading with his gloves.

Wlad's #1 lethal weapon is his left hook, not his right hand.

The fight was OK. Wlad looked good in that he was fighting a southpaw and won by late KO - southpaws are difficult for orthodox fighters in general, and Wlad in particular has had trouble with a few. I was happy to see a competitive fight, see Wlad take a few shots and not freak out, see Wlad figure out a leftie, and see Wlad demonstrate some stamina by winning by KO late. All in all a decent outing.

    Utter bull****.

Wlad's combos were okay & later in the fight he actually started jabbing with his right, which means he adjusted & executed his plan from there. He was throwing the left hook more than usual & he did land some effective uppercuts.

The plan worked by the way, KO in 11. :deal :thumbsup

    i gave him a 6. Not a full Godly 6, rather a semi-Godly 6.

Wlad dealt with his biggest problem..tall southpaws...Thompson came to play defense with his high guard. Wlad adjusted and through more body shots than I've ever seen him. Thompson initiated as many clinches as Wlad. Wlad broke him down and got the ko. If Wlad is such a weak champion...how come he hasn't lost in 4 years and hasn't been knocked down in 3. He's only lost a few rounds in that entire time frame. Face it...Wlad is pretty damn good.
