His trainer sent him in there to defend only and not get hit, he threw nothing and his corner told him after 2 rounds they werent going to let him get hit, his injury was a massive factor in their thinking coming in, he didnt look confident coming into the ring.

This is the reason the fight was made, an easy fight in reality after Lamons injury and loss and layoff. Wlad bxed very well. Know he can fight a real opponent, he is ready now. If he beats the winner of chagaev, ibragamov he will have avenged the loss to Brewster because the linage of victory from that fight will belong to the winner of that fight.

This was Brewters retirement fund, just as the second Tyson fight was forBruno when he entered that with a detatched retina from his previous fight and as a result had no confidence or will to be there once he got hit.

we will never know becaus ethe Brewster from th efirst fight was not the guy who turned up with no confidence and the psychologial effect of a detatchd retina meaning all he wanted to do was not get hit, thi sfight came at the wrong time. Wlad looked good tonight but I said as soon as this fight was announced it was a waste of ime and an easy one sided win due to the circumstances. Whats next Ross Purrity lol.

You are just hating and not wanting to give credit to Wlad for avenging a loss.

    Hater. GJ making excuses already.

Brewster may very well be damaged goods, but let's face it, Wlad had to take this fight.
If he didn't, there would be tons of people screaming that he's ducking Brewster. In fact, haven't some people been saying that in recent years?
So, it does no good to whine about Brewster being shot.

you're right and you know what else we learned tonight? We learned that Vlads stamina is terrible and U.S fighters are definetly tougher and never ever quit?

I watched the first fight (not this one). Brewster was getting absolutely owned until Wlad fell apart for whatever reason. Sounds like Wlad just didn't fall apart this time. Brewster had a couple of solid wins over Golota and Luan and fought hard vs sergei but the guy was limited always.

I think McGirt definitely had in mind to keep Brewster as safe as he could.

I don't think he ever had confidence that Brewster could win this fight...evidenced by the constant threat to stop it even though Brewster was getting peppered with only jabs.

I hope Lamon can still continue fighting, he would totally kick Maskaev's, Ibragimov's and Chagaev's asses.

I don't thinkso, its obvious he suffering from something, they shouldve ended the fight right from the beginning from him stumbling all over the place without getting hit or from throwing a punch. im pretty sure his doctors told him to hgang it up, he is fighting so he can take care of his family, don't look like for any other reason.

Huh?? Based on what? He didn't do anything tonight. He loses badly at this point to any of the champions.
